977. MicahBarron165 : I was adopted through Dillon International. My adopted parents lived in Texas‚ in the United States. The only information i have is my birth mother had me at a young age and my birth father probably doesn’t even know i was born as he separated from my birth mother and went into the military service in South Korea. I have no idea if i have any siblings or any family in South Korea‚ but I am eagerly searching.
978. ParkJung-Ok : Mom’s surname is Hwang. She’s second oldest out of 2 bothers and a sister. Only her father was alive at the time (1982).
Dad’s surname is Park. He was the oldest out of 4 sons.

979. Kyky0187 : I was born Kang‚ Yeon Hee on January 18‚ 1987 in Gyeonggi-do. My biological mother’s name is Kang‚ Mal Sook who was 20 years old at the time of my birth. She was born in Gyeongsangbuk-do‚ the 5th of 6 children. My biological father was Kim‚ Choong Yeol who was 26 years old at the time of my birth. He was born in Goheung-gun‚ the 1st of 5 children. My biological mother visited Esther’s Home (a care center for unmarried pregnant women) prior to giving birth to me.
I was adopted on May 9‚ 1987 to a loving family.

983. JooJeonLee : Honestly‚ i’m 22 years old and i’m curious about where i come from. My Korean/birth name is Joo YeonLee‚ but my name is Cat Harper. I honestly dont know much and dont expect much out of this but i thought id try.
984. SuzannePollack60 : I am looking for my twin sister. I’m assuming we have the same birth date‚ given that our names and other vital statistics may have been changed to hide our identities.
We were born in Seoul‚ South Korea at or near Paju town or city. Our mother’s name is/was Shin‚ Kyoo-Soon.
I was surrendered for adoption Christmas Eve 1962‚ so I’m guessing we were all together for nearly a year.
My bio parents took me to a Presbyterian church close by but they referred them to Holt Children’s Services‚ now known as Holt International‚ somewhere in Seoul‚ where I was surrendered to.
I went to Korea back in 2016 to do a birth search through G.O.A.L. And was given a translator and went to Paju town. We ended up at a police station there‚ and the police woman searched the internet to look for my mother’s name. She found ten women with the same name. Seven of these women were deceased and three were still living. So she called the three living women and asked each one if they ever surrendered one or both girls to adoption Christmas Eve of 1962. All three said no. So either my bio mother is dead or doesn’t acknowledge our existence.
986. Srweb0 : My grandfather had a son in Korea‚ who he left behind. He was an American soldier in the army. His name was Paul Moses Haltiwanger. He left the child there and they may or may not have been adopted. I believe he was born in 1955‚ but am not positive. He served from March 1953-May 1955.
