571. Jungkil : I am searching for my birth parents. I have some paperwork that says my temporary address was #388-19, Hapjung-dong, Mpo-ku, Seoul, Korea. Holt Reception Center. I was adopted through Holt Children’s Services, Inc in 1986. I was born on June 10, 1986 under the name Kim Jung Kil. According to the paperwork I have, my guardian at Holt was Kim Han Kyu.
The information also says my birth mother was 29 years old, a Junior High School graduate and worked in a factory. My biological father was a 29 year old man, a Senior High School graduate who was unemployed. They had met through a friend a year before my birth. The father did not want marriage or the responsibility of a child so they did not see each other again. The mother found it difficult to make the decision for adoption of the child but new she could not meet the responsibility of raising a child as a single parent and decided for adoption in my best interest. I was placed in foster care in a home with a mother, father, and a son in his twenties. I am not sure if I have siblings or half-siblings.
I arrived in the United States on September 15, 1986 in the state of Iowa. The US Holt agency was the Iowa Branch Office, 2175 NW 86th Street, Des Moines, IA 50322.
572. Lcloer : I was adopted in July of 1983. By a white family in guilford Connecticut. I do not know much history on my family. I was supposedly found in a bus station by a teenage girl then taken by police to the sungrowan babies home in Seoul: I was there about 6 months before being adopted.
573. Btodde : My name is Todd Early. I was born in South Korea around Seoul. I am unsure of my age or birthdate. I was adopted from an orphanage in Seoul area back in 1976-77. I live in Southern Indiana now.

My mother’s name at the time she gave me up for adoption in 1956 was Ok Jeon Sohn. She was from Ulsan-gun, Kyeongnam, South Korea. I am looking for my Korean birth mother. I have found my American birth father, who served in the military during the Korean War, through Ancestry DNA.

I was born Myong Soon Lee in Ulsan-gun, Kyeongnam, South Korea in 1951 to a Korean mother and an American GI, whom I have found through Ancestry DNA - Arlo Pamplin. My mother’s name at the time she gave me up for adoption in 1956 was Ok Jeon Sohn, which means she may have married after I was born. I was adopted in 1956 by a couple in Minnesota through the Holt Adoption Agency.

580. Seoncannon : I am searching for my birth family, father KIM,Seong and mother LEE,Hye Ja. My name before I was adopted was KIM, Mee Seon. I was given up for adoption to Eastern Child Welfare by my birth mother 23 July 1986. My father was aged 30 and was born in Chollabuk-do. My mother was aged 24 and from Taegu-City, where I was born.
581. Patty1976 : My name is Kim Soon Bai. I was born dear the DMZ in S. Korea on November 28. 1957. I was taken to an army chaplain by my birth mother and he contacted Holt Adoptions in Seoul. I was 3 months old at the time my birth mother gave me up for adoption. She gave me my name, Kim Soon Bai. I was brought to USA and my adopted parents on June 5, 1958. I landed in Portland Oregon. My home was and is Okanogan Washington. I am searching for my birth mother. I only know she was a Korean National and she was about 14-16 years of age and I came through Holt Adoptions in Korea. She has an photo of me with my adopted parents.
