1156. Cashton1989 : Hello! My name is Christina Ashton (maiden name McBane) ‚ born Hyun Mee Lee. I am looking for my birth parents and possible sibling (who may or may not have been adopted as well) from Seoul‚ South Korea. I was born in 1989 at the Sam Il Hospital and the adoption was facilitated by Holt Korea.
My adoption papers indicated that I was 1 of 2 pregnancies and my Korean birth mother’s name is Yi‚ Son Yong.
My adoptive parents are Dorathea and James McBane who adopted me at 5 weeks old and originally lived in Vashon Island‚ WA and eventually moved to Libby‚ MT. I currently reside in Missoula‚ MT.
My DNA is registered and uploaded on Ancestry.com and GEDMatch.com under Christina Ashton.
Any and all information is welcomed and I cannot wait to connect!
1157. Pbeck : Hello‚ not sure I will find results‚ but I was adopted at Social Welfare Society licensed by the Republic of Korea. I was told I was given birth at a hospital and my birth mother left. My family name is Chun. This is all I have and I don’t have high hopes. Wish I had more information to go on but guess the birth mother wanted it to be this way.
1159. Jtol3242 : I am searching for my birth parents. I was born April 23‚ 1985 in Pusan City. I was born in a clinic. My mother was 22 and my father was 23. They were together for seven months and decided to end the relationship because they did not know each others family history.
1161. Makayla1209 : Hi! My dad was adopted out of Korea in 1977. His adopted parents went through a small adoption agency in Oklahoma that has since shut down. He’s tried to find his bio family before but felt discouraged and gave up. I however‚ have always been curious about the potential family I have in Korea. I’ve always felt like a piece of my life has been missing. This is such a long shot but I figured I would try.
1162. SamZ7146 : Hi I’m Sam. I was adopted almost 17 years ago in either 2006 or 2007 from Busan‚ South Korea. I was born in Busan‚ South Korea on October 17‚ 2006. My adoption was facilitated by the Barker Adoption Foundation. I know very little about the process of my adoption‚ but I do know my Korean name was Haneul Park
1164. Lj78 : I was born in Junjoo City on 17th June 1978. It took over 1 year for me to meet my adoptive parents at the Dutch Airport. After my adoptive parents had received a photo of me they were told soon after that they will receive a different girl‚ but when they got to the airport it was me after all. My birth name is Yung Yung Ae. when I was around mid twenties my birth father tried to contact me via the adoption agency. I declined because my adoptive mother was emotionally so threatened by this reach out. I deeply regret this in hindsight. I was told that I was the 4th child and thus my birth parents had to give me up for adoption. I had suffered from recurring nightmares until the age of 12‚ which consisted mainly of fear and anxiety.
1165. Jinnag : My korean name was Jin Mee Lee. ESWS !!
My adoption file doesn't say much but my mother was extremely young. She has an older sister who lived with their grandmother‚ while she lived with her father when their parents divorced. Her father remarried.
My birth father was married in 1996‚ had a son and then divorced in 1999-2000?? He was the third of two sons and a daughter.
