781. CRob93 : I am looking for any information regarding the birth family of my father. His real birth date is unknown.
He is estimated to have been born in Seoul in 1969. He was adopted to Sweden in 1974.
He was quite small for his age.
He remembers very little. He thinks that he walked across railway tracks to get in to the city‚ where his mother left him and told him she was to return shortly. A police officer found him alone later.
He thinks he had a siblings‚ among them a sister - but he is not sure.
He was in a hospital south of the Han river in Seoul briefly before being adopted to Sweden.
782. Meredith81 : All I was told by my adopted parents is that i was found on the door steps of a hospital in Seoul‚ South Korea. I went into a foster home for 3 months then moved to New Jersey. My foster mom gave me my Korean name which is Kyung Jin Hwang. Birthday is November 15. 1981.
786. Kerriemorris : Only know that mother was 22‚ father was 23 and a cook. They met through a friend and became intimately involved. She found out she was pregant after their seperation and she couldnt get in touch with him again. She went into the Unmarried Mother’s Protection Home and gave me up cause she was unmarried and couldnt afford raising me alone. Gave birth at a clinic and i was admitted to Holt Children’s Services Inc. the next day. Was placed in a foster family until i was adopted to Denmark on March 17 1988 (arrived March 18) through Danadopt.
Birthname: Kim‚ Hyun Jung
Birthplace: Seoul‚ South Korea

790. Skky2heavy : I want to try and locate my birth mother - was born in Inchon and came to the United States in April 1959 and Naturalization papers in 1961 - can you please help‚ also back in December 2018 I was threaten with deportation because I didn’t have a birth certificate (never had)
792. Emoleechen : I was adopted through Holt International Children's Services and flown to USA via Kansas City in Sept. of 1982.
I was born in Daegu‚ South Korea to a 19-year old mother who was told that her baby died after she gave birth. I was taken to Holt by my maternal grandmother who has since passed‚ so my birth mother cannot ask her any questions.
I know my birth mother is married and that I have half-siblings that most likely also live in Daegu.
794. Catnabbit : I am seeking family member directly related to me.
I have been told I was left with an US Army officer in Daegu with my birthdate pinned to my person. I was approximately 5 months old at the time of abandonment.
My adoption was done privately and expedited by the US military through Holt Children’s Services in Seoul. I have my adoption papers but they are in Korean which I do no read. My parents said I was left at an officer’s residence in Daegu/Taegu.
795. Azndy : I was born August 7‚ 1988 in Seoul‚ South Korea. I went to foster care. My given name was Jung Sung Min. I am unsure if I was named by my foster mother or birth mother. I was adopted through Wide Horizons agency. I believe my parents were teenagers when they had me.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
