HyoWonNam : The information I had from Social Welfare Society inc.‚ is that I was rescued from the street located in #118-34‚ Wonhyoro 4-ka‚ Yongsan-Ku of Seoul at 4.45 pm on Feburary 21 1980 as a foundling. I was near Sanho Apt.‚ and I was wearing a pink sweater and was wrapped in a quilt with red. I have no information about my birth family. The Social Welfare society inc established my presume birthday on Feburary 21 1980‚ and name me as Hyo Won Nam. Name that my adopted family kept and add Peter‚ to help me to feel included in my new country‚ Canada. I have been adopted and found my new home on October 21‚ 1980‚ so I stayed 10 months in Seoul before being adopted‚ where I was in charge of Social Welfare Society Baby’s Reception Home (SWS). Mrs. Myung See WON was the case worker of the Child Welfare Dept. who signed my case number 80-148/WMH.
I really need to know my origins. That’s a deep needs for me‚ for my soul‚ to know where I came from. I don’t want to make and intrusion in your life‚ and disturbing it. I only want to have the chance to pass the second half of my life knowing who I am.

768. Silver_Pearl : Hello‚ I am searching for my birth family. I was abandoned around 1982/1983 in a taxi cab. I never spent time in an orphanage‚ but spent some time with a village elder before being taken to my adopted parents who were missionaries in South Korea. The only information I could give them was that my name was Kim EunJoo and I was three years old. I do not have any other information.
769. Martame5 : I born premature on June 25‚1983 at Woosung Gyn & Obs in Incheon‚ where my birth mother stated she was unmarried who seemed to be in early 20’s & had no means to support a baby. Woosung Gyn & Obs gave me the name Woo Sung Lee. I was then in the Han Suh Hospital for a few weeks and transferred to Myungaung Orphanage and then a foster home until I was adopted at 6 months old to an American family in Michigan.

I was born in Seoul‚ South Korea‚ December 10‚ 1973 but my father told me that they changed my birthdate to March 10‚ 1973 (this is what is on my legal documents currently in US).
