965. HLGnau : I have one cousin that I found through 23andMe‚ she is similar to my age and was also born in Seoul Korea but adopted through a different company than I was and she lives in the United States in New York.
969. Kyrascarlson : Hi… my birth name was Ha Kyung Ah. From what I was told I was born in Busan. I was left on Haeundae Beach when I was about 3.5 years old. I was in an orphanage now called Wide Horizons for Children. I was adopted in October 11‚ 1990. I was told they estimated my birthday to be April 2‚ 1986. I just want some information‚ if any‚ about where I am from.
970. Tessiestaples : I was born in Seoul‚ South Korea on February 22‚ 2005. I was adopted through HOLT adoption agency on January 22‚ 2005. My Korean name was Soo/Sue Bin Yoo.
971. Karliaylward : birthplace Kyung Ki-do
mother Shin‚ Yang Nim was 17 years old in 1983 born in Gokseong-kun youngest of three brothers.
i was placed in foster care foster mother was Mrs Jee Soon Ja
972. RobertoD : I was stationed in Okinawa from 1979 till 1980. I was married in December 1979. We deployed for training in March 1980 and remember kissing my wife goodbye across the street from the company office before we departed on cattle cars. At Camp Fuji‚ I was thrown off a helicopter on purpose so that I would be medivaced to the States. At Yokosuka Naval Hospital‚ one of my wife’s male elders (father?) gave me a speech about how I will not ever be with his daughter (niece or whatever) and that he would ruin me so that nobody in the family would ever want to be around me. I was drugged and in/out of a light coma for approximately 2 weeks. Before I was transported to the States I escaped after much abuse by the staff and made it back to Camp Fuji. Her family has dragged me away on several attempts for us to be together.
Interesting thing is the man that dropped me from the helicopter was named Donnie and he eventually married my wife took her and children to the States. A slight possibility that she had twins on our last attempt to reunite and may have been put up for adoption.
If any read this and are familiar with this story about Henoko and my wife and beautiful daughters let me know. Forgive the typos because I can’t find my glasses.
974. Bobbyanderson : I was in the US military in Korea in 1979-1974 and fell for a lady name Cho Kissin (not sure the spelling) we had two children a son born in November 1972 and another child who was due in 1974. But the military came and made me leave because I was AWOL because I wanted to stay with my family. I lost touch and every single day I think of you all. I live in Charlottesville Virginia now. My friend Kimberly is helping me find my children so my heart can be whole before I leave this world.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
