Choi‚ Jin Young‚ Age 22 with a birth year around 1958. He lost his own parents at age 4 and became an orphan himself.
These Biological Parents met while working in the same office and started dating. Jin Young joined the military and separated from Hea Sook. In Feb 1980 she discovered she was pregnant and did not tell her parents‚ and moved into the care of Salvation Army Woman’s Home which is for unmarried women to deliver their babies. After much thought and consideration she decided to allow her baby to be available for an overseas adoption.

Mark has no memory until several years after he arrived in the states‚ and the loss of idenity has been difficult and he is not in contact with his adoptive family. Even if the birth family cannot be contacted‚ as Mark was an older child when coming to the orphanage we are hoping that someone has some memory of him‚ a foster family‚ staff member‚ etc. that he can connect with.

We have a letter dated 12 June‚ 1978 to the Cersovski’s 280 Boden‚ Junction City‚ OR 97448 discussing adopting JUNG JI HAN. It was signed by Ruth Nisly‚ Social Worker.
We have notes stating that he was in New Hope Boy Home‚ in Boochun City in Kyungki Do.
We have a letter titled Appointment of the Guardian for the minor orphan accommodated in an orphanage‚ Social Affairs: 1485-65-16 and it is signed May 12‚ 1978.
We have a Pre-Flight Child Report dated 9/2/78 for No. K78-859 JUNG JI HAN.
The only indication of his origins is a note in the Initial Social History- Korea: C. Child background: 5. Previous history of child and/ or family: 1/10/77: To New Hope from Boo Chun City Hall.

I (baby girl) was ACCORDING TO KWS RECORDS found abandoned at Kwangjoo bus station‚ on the 4th of October 1974 - estimated birth date approx. October 1st 1974. There were no objects or notes that could deduce to a name or background.

Born at 9:20 pm on June 23‚ 1976 at Shi‚ Young-Soon Clinic in Anyang‚ Kyonggi-do. Name of clinic changed to Shin Clinic. I was born first and my twin brother was born five minutes following my birth. My birth father was 31 years old and my birth mother was 26 years old when I was born.
My birth parents could not afford incubator care for me‚ so they asked the clinic to take care of providing medical care for me. They took my twin brother and left the clinic. I was in the incubator for 35 days and on July 27‚ 1976 was intaken by ESWS for the purpose of adoption.
I was adopted when I was just over six months old to a family in the United States through Dillon International‚ Inc.
I would love to meet my birth family and twin brother‚ as I think of them often.
