I am a Korean-American male. I was born in Seoul, Korea and was adopted by an American family. Not much is known about my history. The foundation that dealt with the adoption no longer exists. All I know is that I was born in Seoul, Korea on April 21st, 1979 and was given the Korean name: JaeWon Lee. I am trying to find if I have any relatives there in Seoul and would like to know about my birth parents.

147. KAJ1997 : I was born in Inchon City, S Korea in a hospital and I was told that my birth mother’s mother - my grandmother - was there when I was born. I was placed into adoption by Holt in Seoul. I know no names, but I was told by Holt that my birth mother died in Jan 10, 2014. I am not sure this is true. I just want to know her name and maybe a picture. I would like to visit her grave and place flowers, if that is possible.

My mother’s "name" is Jung Myung Ja. I was taken by Holt Children’s Services at the Holt Reception Center # 382-14 Hapjung-dong, Mapo-ku, Seoul, Korea Case #K84-5178. Guardian/President of Holt Children’s Services, Inc was Han Kyu Kim. I was a clinic abandonee. Name of Orphanage Kyung Dong Babies Home where I supposedly stayed at until I was adopted at 5 mos old.
150. Jungha : I was born in Soo Seg Yang Sang Hospital. This Hospital still exists as I called this hospital to see if they had any records of me but unfortunately after 10 years, they get rid of their records. From what I know of my adoption is my grandmother was a friend of the gynecologist that worked there during 1981. He notified my grandmother when he had a patient that was not married, still in college and was financially unfit to raise a child and wanted to give her unborn child for an adoption. She gave birth to me 12/29/81 at 10:50AM. The day after I was born, I was told my biological mother had checked herself out of the hospital and 2 days later I was adopted.
