1104. Kathie1946 : I was 16 when I got pregnant and much to young to offer a good home to an infant. He was born on Sept.13, 1963, just 7 days after my 17th birthday. I Named him Robert Conrad Armstrong. I was at the WHITE SHIELD HOME FOR UNWED MOTHERS in Portland OR. Even though I gave birth at the home, I believe, Emanual was the hospital listed. He was a very small baby, just 4lb 10oz. I was allowed to hold him once for about 30 minutes. I’ve burned that time into my memory and it seems like just last week I held him. I let BOYS AND GIRLS AID SOCIETY give him to a very deserving family. I later married his father and we had 2 more children, a girl and a boy. But I have never forgotten my first born. His grandfather, my dad, past away March 5, 2007, his dad, Les Nystrom died from a heart attack on Feb.2 2012. His grandmother, my mom, is in a foster home but I feel 2016 may be her last year. I don’t know if he wants any medical history or any information about his birth family or even meet us. It’s all up to him.

1110. Launstar : My father was adopted at birth ( i believe), on January 20th 1942 in Multnomah County Oregon.
His adoptive parents were Walter and Lela Dungan. They resided in Vancouver
WA, and also owned a beach house in Long Beach WA.
They also adopted a daughter by the name of Mary Ann. (Dungan) a few years after my father ( Dale Walter Dungan) .
My mother Barbara Nelson and my father divorced when I was about 6 yes of age and I and my 3 siblings never seen him again afterwards. I’m 53 now. He is now passed away.
I guess I am more curious about his biological last name. ( my biological last name.
I have some leads on ancestry but it is slow rolling. Names such as " woosley, Rossin, & Dupree seem to be connections to me. I share DNA with many on my father’s side as I know all my family on my mothers side.
If anyone has any info, I’d really appreciate it.
Thank you
launie Dungan
