A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Oregon Who Chose To Be Featured
241. SMLang77 : I am searching for my Daughter. There was an open adoption in place, but the people who had her did not comply with the court orders. I have been told (since she was 13 years old), that she hates me and does not want to see me. I was also told, that the reason for these things is because she has been raised to believe I never wanted her. Her name is Rebecca Stephanie Wolfe, birth name Rebecca Stephanie Ali White. The people who have had her are Robin and David Wolfe. Last I heard they moved to New Mexico, and back to Oregon. Last contact was 9 years ago. I am no longer going to play nice, this is MY daughter, and she needs to know the truth. I loved her then, I love her still and she has younger siblings she deserves to get to know. Please help? Contact her first, if she doesn’t want to see me, then that is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life. Thanks
242. Lookingfor818 : The birth occurred at Multnomah Hospital (which I believe is no longer known by that name) in Portland, Oregon, Time of birth was 6 a.m. The adoption was handled by the Boys and Girls Aid Society in Portland within a few days after the birth.
243. Nickulery : when i was a kid i was happy that my mother was was pregnant. I was so excited about being an older brother. But during the adoption process i went with my mom everywhere she needed to go. I didnt now at the time that she was giving my sister away to other people. But when i found out it was so heartbreaking to me. I saved up some money at the time and i only had about five dollars. So i went out and bought a disposable camera. Like the one you get in a plastic bag at rite aid. I took alot of pictures. But out of 27 only four came out. I got a picture of my little sister just after she was adopted. With her adoptive parents. I now there names and i know her name. But to now avail i still have failed to find my little sister. Its been eating me alive for the last fourteen years. Or more. I got to see her once since she was adopted. In bend oregon. Her adoptive parents live in California. Im pretty sure it was a closed adoption from what i can remember. But the last time and only time i saw my sister. My mother told her adoptive parents that this was to hard for her to handle and she didn’t want anything to do with them. I now how weird this may all sound but. All i want is to keep in contact with either her or her parents. I can understand that she may not now that she was adopted. And i can deal with that. I just want to see her. To now about her. What movies she likes or dislikes. If she likes fishing or hiking. Or dancing and singing.
Thank you for your time.
