A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Oregon Who Chose To Be Featured
841. Lauren1972 : My baby was born in Eugene, Oregon. I don’t remember the name of the hospital, the physician or much of anything else. I was told that the adoptive father was a college professor and the couple had an adopted daughter around 5 years old at the time.
I was told that the baby would be placed at least 2 counties away from where I lived at the time. I actually did not live in Eugene permanently, I lived at a Catholic Charities Maternity home in Eugene. So, my baby actually could’ve been placed with a family in Eugene, I’m not sure.
842. Mothernicci : Billie was born at sacred heart hospital / CPS caseworker was
Larry Leverette in Eugene Oregon
He was taken at 3months old
He was in one foster home around 15 months old in Springfield Oregon
He was returned at 3 years old to me in December.of 1978 I believe but my marriage split up and I had no financial way to care for him so I had CPS come get him again (my biggest life’s regret)
843. Nekbbew : Looking for birth mother. I was told she had Native American ancestry. I think the last name was a version of Ellis - I think she was a single mother with 4 children already. I am nearly 50 and want to address any health issues we may have. It would be nice to at least say hi to the mother and or siblings.
845. KsBraa : I’ve been told my biological parents were high school students and were unable to provide for me. I was apparently adopted at birth. Born in the Ashland, Oregon hospital.
847. SearchAngelforDan : Looking for adoptee born in Tillamook between Oct 1946 and June 1947. We believe it was a male. Birth mother was forced to give up two children for adoption after marrying in Oct 1947. This child was likely not an infant. Found the youngest child, a male born March 1948. The older child may have been surrendered earlier. The younger was likely surrendered at birth after the marriage was already done in Oct. 1947. There was an even older male child born in Jan. 1946 and he was kept. Later children born to bio mother and her husband were told later in life of the two half brothers given up when their mother married their father. Mother’s surname was Berns. She married a Davis, so I’m not sure what name she would have used on the adoptions. So we are searching for the unknown child born between Oct 1946 and June 1947. (Family legend it was a male but that’s uncertain).
848. Kedari : I am attempting to find a relative of my wife, this is very important to her. The relative was Cherokee Indian and was adopted at birth. We know nothing more than her name at time of death which is Opal Miller-Neighbors. Any info is very appreciated.
849. Laura2477 : Looking for my son Alexander, I know his first name is still Alexander but the last name changed. I use to visit him when he was young, then it was stopped. In Salem, Woodburn area of Oregon but may not live in Oregon anymore.
850. Akmcmichael : She was born at Tuality Hospital in Hillsboro, OR, under the name Debbie Rae. Most of her birth family, which is my family, still live in OR her grandma, grandpa, and one uncle and his husband live in Beaverton, and her other uncle lives with his wife and 4 children in Sheridan. Her paternal grandmother, who she grew up calling her Nana, lives in the Portland metro area as well.
851. Clownluv12345 : Im looking for my birthparent or parents I was born at McKenzie Willamette Hospital in Springfield Oregon on May 26th 1979. All I know is my mother was 14 and the father was 15 and didnt know about me atleast that is what I was told.
852. SheriG66 : Gail Cervo gave birth to a baby boy in early 1968. We believe he was born on 2/22/68. His birth name would have been Coby. I was told he was immediately given up for adoption.
855. Auntie2many : My sister’s daughter was adopted in Salem, Oregon when she was about 2 yrs old. Her name was Rosalina Lagail Wilson. She would love to have her daughter back in her life. She had always felt a piece of her was missing. She has 2 brothers and a sister who would love her to be a part of they’re life also.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
