142. Lisaberry18 : The adopted baby’s birth mother was Mary Doyle. The child is a boy and may have been adopted through a group related to the Catholic Church.
143. Colleen0205 : I’m searching for my birth parents. I was born in Eugene Oregon on Feb 5th 1980. I don’t know much information. I was told my birth mother was around 16. My name is Colleen‚ which was given to me by my adoptive parents. My adoption was done through the Boys and Girls Aid Society. Possible last name of Hoffman‚ that is a guess from my adoptive father doing some investigating.
145. Mnavarrette : I was abandoned in the Emergency Room of the Lebanon Oregon Hospital (it has since burned down along with all records from the time of my arrival there) around the 4th of July holiday in 1968. My umbilical cord fell off on July 7th, 1968 so that would mean I was born some time in June I do not know the exact date of birth. That’s about all I have.
146. Neverstop311 : Searching for my nephew Austin Taylor Hill born in Abliene‚ tx Black and white‚ was adopted through Baptist childrens home in Monroe‚la. Your birth father was captain of air force. Your mother was also adopted as a child and I was also. I would love to be a part of your life. I really hope you see this me and your mother want to see you
147. Samanthahenson1987 : My dad‚ Joseph Denton Henson had a baby boy with a woman named Diane. I don’t remember her last name. She was on drugs when she had my 1/2 brother who was named Joseph (Joey) Henson Jr at a hospital in Portland‚ Oregon in the early 90’s. I was somewhere between the ages of 3-5 at the time I think‚ it was a long time ago‚ and I was born in September 1987‚ so that is why I put several years in because I do not know his birth date. He was a sick baby because his mother was on Methamphetamines during the pregnancy and maybe even during his birth. My dad had 3 young daughters at the time‚ and because he was not on drugs at the time‚ the doctors were going allow my father to keep his only son. His mother was arrested after his birth. Finding out from the doctors that he would need expensive medications and special care‚ my father realized that he would not be able to afford the care he needed with his one income and also being able to care for 3 daughters as a single father. So he gave Joey up for adoption with the advise of the staff there. We all got to hold our brother once before he was adopted. He looked like an extremely happy‚ smiley baby. We have one picture of him‚ but there isn’t a time stamp on it. I have always wanted to get to know him‚ to meet him again. He’d be a grown man now. I have always loved my sisters‚ but we want to meet our brother. I want to know if he is still alive. With the medical issues he had as a baby‚ I don’t know if he is or not. I don’t know if he’s healthy‚ if he even knows he was adopted‚ if they changed his name‚ we know nothing. Any help at all in tracking him down for us would be greatly appreciated
149. NorthernHeidi : I am looking for my half-sister who was born in Oregon at St. Vincents hospital. Her adoption was handled through a Catholic adoption agency.
150. MelissaW04 : Hi‚ you were born on September 1st 1988 in Portland‚ Oregon to two college kids...one of which was my sister. She loved you so much. So much that she wanted to give the gift of life to your birth parents. I believe they were from New York. We have never stopped thinking about you and keeping you in our prayers. My mother‚ who would be your grandmother still mourns the day when my sister gifted you to another couple. The one thing she did was give your birth parents her phone number that she has had forever in the hopes that if you ever wanted to meet us or if you had any questions you would know she had a wide open heart with which to receive you. Unfortunately‚ as people do...my parents have gotten older and moved from their family home and no longer have this same phone number. I think this was actually the most difficult part of the move for my mom because she always thought you may call one day. Your parents on the day my sister said goodbye to you said that they would be happy to keep in touch with my sister and to send her updates as you grew up. But my sister being the loving strong person she is declined their offer. Much to the heartbreak of my mother and me my sister said that she didn’t want to be an interference in their lives. She really wanted your parents to know that she was giving you to them with her whole heart. I hope that you have had a wonderful‚ magical life. If you are at all interested in knowing us or if you have questions please get in touch.
