A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Oregon Who Chose To Be Featured
556. RitaM45 : I am in search of my brother who was likely born between 1943 and 1944. His birth mother was very young. Biological birth mother’s maiden name is Bowers. Married name Smith. Was likely born in a military hospital near Portand? Only speculation as the bio father was in the Navy and listed residence was "Receiving Barracks" in Portland Oregon.
Bio mother could have had multiple last names as she was married multiple times. It is hard to track due to the numerous last names that she had. Smith, McGoffin, Baker, White, just to name a few.
If ANY of this sounds familiar to you, please contact me. Even if you feel the chances are slim, it is worth a shot as my brother would be in his 70’s now. I want to find him before time runs out. Thank you!

565. Deering777 : Hello. I am searching for my grandson. He was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Oregon at the end of September 2008. The name he was given by his birth mother (my daughter) was Rui. After giving birth in 2008 my daughter was killed in an automobile accident Feb 20 2010. I would like to oneday meet my grandson. Or at the very least know he’s in a good home.
566. Mizsnowgo87 : Both my boys where adopted and they live together in the same home it was open adoption but I have not had a word from them in years
567. 5gunthers : My adopted brother has never met his birth parents. We recently lost our father, and I think it would be healing for him to meet his birth parents. He was born in Buffalo, New York. We were told that his father was young and his mother was a teenager. He was adopted through the Boys and Girls Aid Society. They told us his name was Jonathan when we adopted him, but I don’t know if that was the name his mother gave him. My parent changed his name to Douglas Walsh.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
