1894. Scarecrow34 : My father‚ Charles Vincent Messing‚ had a daughter in the late 60s/ early 70s. She tried to find my family in the 1990s‚ but it did not work out. He has since passed away.
During that time he lived in Southwest Washington (Oysterville‚ near Long Beach). However‚ his daughter could have been put up for adoption in either Washington or Oregon.

1900. Angelia1980 : My son Robert Martin Wagner was born in linn County oregon. He was taken from me by the state of oregon for charges that ended up being unfounded and then dismissed. The state still didn't give my son back to me.
1901. Jenniferrodewald : I was 5/6 years old. My siblings were Robert he was 3/4 years old and two little sisters‚ I’m guessing it was Christina 2 years old‚ and Angelica newborn.
This was back in 2005-2006. They would be between the ages 19-23 now. We lived in Salem Oregon‚ but I believe they were all adopted together and moved to Idaho. That’s what I heard but I’m not sure if it was true. The adopted parents wanted no contact with bio family. So I believe closed adoption.
I was adopted as well when I was 9 years old. We have many siblings‚ all of whom I am in contact. I would love to get in touch with them. They were my half siblings from my mother‚ Joyce Trevino/ Pequeno.
1902. Sfaig75 : Trying to help my mother and Aunt find their 1/2 brother. My grandmother has passed‚ but a few years before her death she informed my mom and aunt that she placed a son for adoption while they all lived in Oregon. They never knew she was pregnant and the child would be younger than them. All they know is she said she adopted him out to a couple that she was friends with. She‚ (my grandmother) thinks that his parents may have passed young or she lost contact. But no one ever knew of the baby until this last decade so he’s in his 70’s now. We don’t have a birthday or year really. I entered my DNA on ancestry but it lists one of my other 1/2 uncles as a second cousin. He’s my uncle‚ so any potential match (if any) might be buried in my long list of cousins. Not sure what else to try. I believe they lived in Portland or Prineville OR at the time. My grandmother already had 3 daughters at the time as a single mother. She felt adoption was the best option for this boy.
1904. Roosmurff : Looking for birth son. Born Feb 17‚ 1982 at St Vincent Hospital in Portland Oregon. Adoption was through Catholic Charities Portland Oregon. I know his first name is (now) Anthony & he was in the military.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
