1158. Dianareaves06 : Hi I was adopted through The child saving institute in Omaha Be I was born at The UNMC medical hospital. E.C Ran. dall delivered me and I was a huge babe weighing 10 lbs. 11/2 ounces. I was 21 1/2 inches long I was born at 12:35am. I was adopted by 2 wonderful parents. I also ended up having a brother as my mom did finally get pregnant!
1159. MeredithMetcalf : Looking for any results for my daughter or myself.
Me: Meredith Marie Metcalf. Current birth certificate issued Meredith Marie Betts‚ Long Beach‚ Los Angeles County‚ CA.
My daughter: Hensley Marie Betts-Metcalf. Born in Newport Beach‚ Orange County‚ California.
Thank you.
1160. Alswarrior74 : My grandmother was born in February 1948 and was adopted out because her parents had too many children
I know that after she was born and adopted out‚ she had two or three younger siblings that were also born and adopted out
I believe her other older siblings ended up adopted out as well because her parents were addicts with severe mental illness like schizophrenia and Bipolar running in either both or one of the families.
I know that her birth last name was James.
Before I was born‚ she had been in contact with some of her birthsiblings who have since passed away‚ one of her nephews has been in an insane asylum due to severe paranoid schizophrenia.
I’m trying to get as much information about this family as possible‚ including names of birth parents
Thank you
1161. Kayheg : I’m searching for two half-sisters who were born in Omaha‚ Nebraska sometime between 1980 and 1984 and placed for adoption at birth. I don’t know the agency‚ or exact dates‚ but I believe both girls were adopted separately. They may have been born at university hospital.
Our biological mother’s name is Lisa‚ and she is currently 60 years old. She was quite young at the time of the adoptions and lived in the Omaha area. I’ve been told very little beyond that‚ but I hope this information may help connect the dots for someone out there
1162. PiaBolinder : Im looking for Demjanas Verochenko who lived in the orphanage Lopselis until 2012‚ he was adopted to USA 2012 under the name Jonah.
1164. BelovedJoy18 : I am searching for any members of my Mother’s birth family. The adoption seems to have been private. Information from previous searches indicate her mother’s first name may have been Anne. She was told by her adoptive family that her birth mother was married with children and her husband was away at war. During his deployment she had an affair with a french man or french soldier‚ became pregnant‚ and went to another town to hide the pregnancy and deliver the child (my mom). Her adopted parents had difficulty adopting through many channels so I’m unsure if it was privately arranged.
1165. Sterlingco : The Nebraska lawyer who handled everything died and I could find no information many years later. A family in Sterling CO took care of me and I was a nanny to their 2 adopted girls. They said they believed that the baby was adopted by a wheat farmer or combiner. The hospital was in Nebraska near Sidney. It could be Booth Hospital or Community Memorial Hospital. It was the fall at the end of October or beginning of November of 1966.
1166. Victoriakearne1950 : I was in a home for unwed mothers in Omaha‚ Nebraska in 1968‚ 1969. I dont remember a lot about this exept they placed me in a Jewish familys home until after the birth. I would like to make contact with my biological daughter in case she needs any family info. Thank you to anyone that can help! My name then was Victoria Kearney.
1167. Wickedtribe766994 : Looking for my older brother‚ whom I’ve never met. You were born between 1965-70. Likely adopted out of Tennessee or Illinois‚ but I am not positive. Your maternal birth mother’s last name is Heckmann. She named you Patrick‚ though that may not be your name today. Her family was very Catholic. You were likely born in the convent she sent to during her pregnancy. If this sounds like you‚ message me!
1169. DavidGulbranson : My name is David Juan Ramon Gulbranson. My birth name was David Juan Ramon Burgos. My father's name is Nestor (Ned) Fidel Burgos and and my mother's name was Elizabeth (Liz) Mae Skidmore. I was born in Bethesda‚ Maryland in 1975. My younger brother‚ Michael was born in Baltimore‚ Maryland in 1977. We also lived in Gaithersburg‚ Maryland Rockville‚ Maryland Silver Springs‚ Maryland Frederick‚ Maryland and in Los Angeles County‚ California. My father also lived in Pennsylvania‚ Florida‚ and New Hampshire. My mother also lived in Dothan‚ Alabama‚ where she passed away February 18‚ 2003. I last saw my mother in 1982/1983. My mother's sister‚ Ann Farrell (nee Skidmore) told me that my mother told her that she named my sister Ann and gave her up for adoption. My mother had two more children with a man named Rodney Bolin. I do not know them. I hope to find my sister‚ to know her‚ to love her‚ to be a part of her life. I always wanted a little sister. I am married with five children of my own and my brother‚ Michael is married with two children. I have DNA on Ancestry.com.
