229. Kst669 : I was adopted from the Nebraska Children’s Home Society in 1969. My birth mother had me at the University of Nebraska Medical Center on 06/25/1969 at 7:36pm. My birth mother was born in 1950 and is the oldest of 5 children, she has four younger brothers.
I know that she was approximately 5’6" tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Conflicting information about whether or not she had completed high school and was in college, or whether she was a high school senior and had me while in school.
I am not looking to meet my birth mother necessarily, I am hoping to find out any medical history and nationality information. I have three children of my own and would like to have something to tell them.
230. Novo13 : I was adopted twice, in Omaha, nebraska. the 1st time was through Lutheran family services. I was only with that family for about 10 days, my 2nd adoption was through a lawyer in Omaha named Mark Kratina. I was born at Methodist hospital.

My birth mother was 19 and my birth father was also young and may have had hearing aids. I’m searching for my birth parents and any siblings or other family I may have.
232. Blawndie : Starting around 1968, my mother (Jones, maiden name Carlson) was a single Mom of two young children after a divorce from my father. She became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl between 1969-1971. I know nothing about the birth father. It is believed the name of the hospital was General Hospital in Kansas City, MO. I do not want to disrupt my sister’s life, but want her to know I am here and willing to be a part of her life if she is at all interested in that.

237. CarleeJ08 : I am a girl from Nebraska who found out about 10 years ago that I have a sister whom my mother gave up for adoption because she couldn’t give her the life she deserved. My mom left it open on her end for her daughter to find her but after a year and a half they closed their side. This would be a girl that was born on February 3rd 1982 blonde hair blue eyes and beautiful! I have seen pics of her til she was 18 months. She may have an older brother as well! But was placed up for adoption through Lutheran Family Services. I just feel like a piece of me is missing and I am hoping and praying that we can find her. I know that I have very little information about her but that’s as much as my mom has as well. I am hoping she is in the Omaha area still because I am. 240. 50stater : I am the father. The mother, Julie Topp, was in a girl’s reformatory in Geneva, NE, at the time of the birth. She was forced to put her baby, Teresa, up for adoption. Julie told me this about two years later. I have never seen her since.
