Dad dropped off the boys in West Point, NE and left for the Colorado Gold Rush. Paul was adopted and raised by Robert A McEachen. I’m trying to find the name of the boys’ biological dad. Her Mother’s name was Ruth Waut/Want (??) It is unknown what her DOB or where she was born, but it is suspected she was born in Nebraska.
She was adopted by Charles Russell Ritchey (DOB October 6, 1906) and Edith Catherine Eddy (DOB February 6, 1906) in or around 1950/51.

785. DorieAN : Not only am I looking for full or half siblings older than me. It indicated on my birth certificate that my bio mom and three prior births. Don’t know if she had any more children after me. My adoption was facilitated through a private law firm, Connolly and Connolly ( Father and son firm). They were located in the Whickam Bldg in Council Bluffs. My adoptive mom worked in the office for them. If any one knows that their adoption went through their law firm or knows of someone who has gone through this law firm, please send me a message. Also, if they know of someone who worked in the office, please let me know. I have a picture of my adoptive mother with two other ladies taken in the law office. Greatly appreciated for any info. 789. Jtbart55 : Possible name on the birth certificate, Jeanne Kay Kurmel. Born on August 10 1953 at Lincoln Home (30 miles east of Lincoln). Biological mother - Jean Theresa Kurmel. Biological father unknown possibly Joseph Mike Kurmel. I found on notes from my biological father the following: Katherine &/or Katy/Mr & Mrs. Fred Johnson 6023 S 48th St. Omaha, NE. This was in a folder with the list of her children.

Her birth mom’s family originated from Virginia or West Virginia. Her birth mom died July 6, 1919. The name on the records I’ve found show her birth name as Marie Lois Hodges.
791. Reighard1 : Hi My name is Kurt Fredrick Reighard Jr. And my father Kurt Fredrick Reighard was adopted when he was a baby. He was born in 1965 and in Nebraska. I would like to find out who my real grandparents are. My dad’s adopted parents names are Dale Reighard and Winnefred Reighard. They live in Virginia. Dale who was my Pop Pop passed away last year. My dad said he was adopted in Omaha Nebraska and that he had started the process of finding his birth parents when he found out my mom was pregnant with me. Some agency sent a letter with a little information about his mother and that she was 16 and that she was of Scandinavian and German decent. My father was suppose to write a letter to her and the agency would see if she wanted to contact him but he never got around to it. I would like to find my biological grandparents if possible.

794. SunnyApril : I am looking for my brother born on St Patrick’s Day in Hennepin County Minnesota. Most likely at Hennepin County General Hospital. Placing agency was Lutheran Children’s Friend Society (Lutheran Social Service). Most likely birthdate is 17 Mar 1965. Birth mother’s last name is Johnson. Unsure of bio dad’s name or what was put on the birth certificate. St Patrick’s day 1965 in Minneapolis was a huge blizzard.
795. Windflower : (2008-2010 approximately) I received a phone message from a young man who said he is my son. He also said he had written me a lengthy letter, which I NEVER received. He said he lived in Nebraska. I immediately tried to reach him using the last number called, which took me to a car dealer. I asked them to page for a customer from Nebraska to call his Mother again. No such luck. No response.
I did give birth to a male child as a result of induced labor. I did see him once after he was born in the delivery room. I believe he has tracked me down and come into my neighborhood. I found the same young man at a store that used to have weekend entertainment, and again at a Chamber Music Performance in Denver.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
