757. Ealden : This is my grandfather. He was adopted out in Nebraska in 1944. We recently discovered he was adopted. His mother was a Haida woman but we do not know who his father’s family was. We think he was a man of Hispanic/Native American ancestry. We would like to learn about his father’s family.
759. RachelinDallas : I have a photo from 1949 of a little boy. My grandmother wrote on it: "Robert Lee Yarbrough. Warren’s son." My father, Warren Yarbrough, sowed a lot of wild oats while married and not. I don’t think little Robert was adopted, but he might have been by a subsequent mother’s husband. Still he looks to have been old enough in the photo to know what his name was. Warren went on to remarry at least three times that we know of, although we don’t know if he was married to little Robert’s mother. He fathered a son in 1957 also named Robert Lee Yarbrough, who is still alive. I would love to meet and/or know more about this former little boy if he would care to reach out. Perhaps if he’s always needed some comfort about his father abandoning him, I can provide it.
762. Muse718 : I learned from my parents after both my paternal grandparents passed away that my paternal grandparents, Robert and Thelma, had a baby boy who they gave up for adoption because they were unwed.
The boy would have been born sometime after my grandfather left his 1st wife around 1946 but before they were married and my oldest Aunt was born in 1950. My assumption is that the boy was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but there are also links to Iowa, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Kendrajo : Desperately seeking my half sister my mother gave up for adoption the day she was born in or around July 1984 in Grand Island Nebraska‚ an open adoption with the Childrens Home Society. Possibly named Stephanie. My mother has passed an no one in the family knew anything about the adoption though I do know my mom was in contact with the family for a while but was to difficult for my Mom to watch her grow up without her an they stopped. I have a demographics page stating the ages of the parents an their heritage‚ college degrees‚ hobbies‚ etc. Please if you have any info or leads‚ I would be forever greatful... 765. BrandooCanDo : I’m looking for my sibling, "Baby Girl Willcock" was what the crib card said, born in Omaha NE around 10-3-1968. I think she was born at one of the University Hosptals, but I’m not sure. My mother was Very young and was giving no choice but to adopt her baby out, she knew very little about her firstborn but loved her very much and always dreamed of the day she’d get to meet her, unfortunalty she passed away before that could happen and now my details about the adoption are very sketchy. But my guess is that she would have red to reddish brown hair. I would love to fulfill that dream for my mother and to meet her and get to know her. She has 2 younger sisters, 2 brother-in-laws and 7 neices and nephews who would very much like to be a part of her family if she so chooses.
