452. Joeysfamily : Our son was released from St. Joseph’s Hospital to another couple. Couple handed the child over to Mike Washburn of Erickson and Sederstrom 3 days later. We stayed in Omaha, NE while the paperwork in Lincoln was completed. Birth mother, Jennifer Mitchell, was a college student at the time and worked at American National Bank. We stayed in touch for the first 2 years, during which time her family members were diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy soon after our son was diagnosed with the congenital form of the disease. Her family moved soon after to Mississippi while she stayed in Omaha with a boyfriend at the time.
454. Sarratt1 : Seek info about male child born 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska, at maternity home mother’s name Laura Magers or Majers. Father’s name Ross Williams. This male child is likely deceased now. Some years ago, a woman contacted me via e-mail who thought her father-in-law might be this adopted child. She did not follow up on our contacts.
455. Prankin18nw : Birth mom was mary Susan brau. I was told there are no attorney records and believe her son went to a couple in Minnesota or Michigan
456. Wstevens : In search of Birth Mother. Age 21 on 2/7/1975. Gave birth at Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln, NE to a baby girl at 9:20 pm. I am told she was a student at University of NE and was Italianlikely not from the area with a last name starting with a V. I have a birth mark on the back of my right thigh, brown hair with slight copper highlights and brown eyes. I had perthesis growing up which is likely hereditary. The doctor was Y. Scott Moore on my birth certifcate.
460. KaraLeaHubler : My name is Kara and I was born on 2/6/1985 in Omaha, NE. My adoptive parents names are Karen and Lee my adoption day was on 3/18/1985.
462. RhondaLeggitt01 : I am a birth mother looking for a baby boy that I had on April 17th 1979 in Omaha, Ne at Bergan Mercy Hospital. I was a 15 yr old young girl at the time & the best thing for my child was to let someone else raise him.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
