As she aged she looked like and said she was part Indian but again not sure. Just wanting to find iany of her siblings and family. I realize her birth parents have probably passed but one never knows. Her brother ( also adopted) said she may have been adopted in the town she grew up in and info could be found at the Johnson County court house Tecumseh or Vesta Nebraska. Adopted parents names Monroe and Leona Pieratt. I know someone knows the truth and would like to find it.
392. Johnrmartin : I found out last year that my mother Lorraine Zuhlke who was born in 1917, when she was 16 years old was sent to a home for unwed mothers in the Omaha Nebraska area. I realize there is a good possibility that this sibling has passed, but would still like to know about her. The child was a female and I’m not sure what month and date she was born. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SMD1968 : my mother and uncle were twins born to a woman on november 14, 1942. she was married to an older man who wasnt the biological father . she gave the twins up and they were placed in an orphanage in lincoln nebraska. the birth mother had 7 or 8 other siblings. My mom and uncle have both passed away . I am looking for family members for family history and medical history. Also my mom and uncle were adopted together to a couple from sioux city iowa when they were 2 years old. any information would be appreciated.

His birth mother was Florence Louisa Schleiger nee Graf(f) who was married to a Ronald D Schleiger.(separated) and his birth father was Jesse Allen Collins. He was at least a year old when he was given up for adoption. His dad was in jail when he was given up. I have a picture of either him or his older half brother, as I am not sure which is which. His birth father Jesse Allen Collins died 2015 and we would love to unite with his long lost son and his half sister would love to meet him as well.
