All that’s been shared with me about her origins is that she is of Black descent and that her mother was a minor held at a juvenile detention center in that region. Apparently‚ she had some connections to family in Omaha‚ Nebraska‚ and was eventually adopted by Bernice and Willie Stewart. Prior to that‚ she spent a year with a white family.

She was born in 1941 in Omaha‚ Nebraska and named Mary Alice Martin. I believe she was around 3 mos. old at the time of adoption. All baby pictures I have start right about that age. She is deceased since 1972‚ her father in 1975 and mother in 1963. I don’t know if identifying her birth parents can be done‚ but I’ve always been curious‚ and my mother seemed to be always looking for something‚ she wasn’t satisfied to stay in one place long. She was born in Lincoln‚ Nebraska at Lincoln General Hospital and was taken home with her adoptive parents 3 days after her birth. The adoption was closed but she has always been curious about her birth parents.

My mother’s name (her biological mother) is Tamara (Tammy) Davis. She was 17-18 at the time that my sister was put up for adoption. Torri was supposed to find out at 18 years old that she was adopted‚ not sure if she ever found out. Because the letters just stopped coming. I can’t find her on any socials. Hopefully my profile being on here reaches someone who knows of her or maybe herself. September/August 1995 she was born and adoption took place very shortly after my mother gave birth to her within a week it sounds. The picture on my profile is a picture of her from 2006/2007 school year.
