Birth parents are Daniel Lee Moore and Catherine Marie Moore (Phelps). Birth name was Heather Dawn Moore. Date of birth was 9/23/1981. I am not 100% sure on the day but pretty certain it was September 1981. I believe she was with my parents for some time and then the state got involved and removed her. I have been told she had club foot and did not walk until 13 months. The name I have for the first placement was Dennis and Janet Ecternach. My parents relinquished their rights and the state adopted her out. It was a closed adoption and I am not sure if an agency was used. She was adopted in Grand Island, Nebraska. This was likely more than a year after her birth but I cannot say for certain.
