694. Andersontl67 : I am searching for my birth parents. I was born in Natchez, Ms at Jefferson Davis Memorial Hospital (now Natchez Regional) Sept. 3, 1967. My adoption was handled through the Mississippi Children’s Home Society. My parents adopted me in Jackson, Ms at age 6 weeks. My mother was 22 years old, her first name was Linda. She worked in a shoe factory, sewing shoes, and as a waitress in a cafe, where she met my father. He lived in an apartment over the cafe and was 27 years old. He was a drag line operator and drove a transport truck during the winter. He left when my mother told him she was pregnant. He had auburn hair, and had a mother and brother. Both birth parents were part Irish. My mother had 4 siblings, a 20 year old brother, and 3 younger sisters, the youngest being 5 at the time of my birth. She married, is now divorced, and has 2 children, age unknown, a boy and a girl. I am 6’0’’, with red hair and some freckles. I am very mechanically inclined, as apparently my birth father was. I am not looking to force myself into their lives, I would just like to talk to them, and get some answers.UPDATE: My birth mother was contacted through the Mississippi Children’s Home, and refused contact. She said she had put that part of her life behind her, and had never told her family about the pregnancy. She would be 63 now. Any information would be appreciated.
695. Rswalm63 : I was put up for adoption when I was a baby. I did not get fully adopted until I was 17 almost 18. I have a 29 year old son and I my self have come down with some medical issues and I am in need of medical information. I know nothing about my birth parents or anything about them. I know I was born in Jackson Mississippi. And I was adopted by some people in Mcgee, Mississippi who no longer talk to me on any level. Thanks
696. Awkward_mom : My son’s name is Noah White. As of 2021, he lives in Madison, with 3 siblings (2 older, 1 younger). If he is interested in finding me, I would love for him to email me so I can give him my personal contact information!
697. DeanHope : I was born at Kings Daughters Hospital, Greenville MS- Washington County. Dr. Bledsoe delivered me, Martha Harville Runnells of Hollandale MS is my biological mother. We have met a few times but have broken ties. She will not disclose the identification of biological father. I am looking for him, his name if nothing else. Not sure we will ever meet, just want to fill in the blanks.
698. Laurin : Female adoptee, born August 5th, 1969. Adopted from the Mississippi Baptist Children’s Home. Have recently found my biological father through ancestry dna from Dekalb, MS.
700. Nandraheflin : My mother in law Nandra Clardy Heflin has thought about you often and would love to meet you so would both of your brothers.. you have been on their hearts and minds.
704. Browneyedgirl62 : Adopted from Mississippi Baptist Children’s Home in Jackson, MS or Mississippi Children’s Home in Jackson, MS between April and May 1962. Birth name given was Sheryl Lynn or Sherilynn. Birth Mother’s sister was listed as having heart condition/problem, maybe hole in heart. Birth Mother listed as having allergy/sinus problems. Birth Father was older than birth Mother, when she went to tell him she was pregnant, he was already in another relationship so she did not tell him. Her parents could not afford the medical care or to raise another child so I was put up for adoption. Birth Mother, I believe, was 16 so she would have been born between 1945 and 1946.
705. NancyBethDent : I would just like to know who my birth parents are. I would enjoy meeting family members. I have some major medical issues that I need to know if they are hereditary.
