271. Melrie3460 : lost contact with 2 sisters‚ adoption possibly took place in the early 1933’s. some family names we’ve figured out are‚ Condon‚ Duffell‚ Myrick‚ Carter‚ Carr‚ Brunson‚ Johnson‚ Riley‚ Warren‚ Gray. Her mom or sisters name was‚ either Jewell or Ruby‚ not sure which was which.
273. Mbrwnlee : He is a white male adopted out of Natchez, Ms. He has a picture of me in his wallet. I was in the 7th grade. He came looking for me a while back with the picture. The last I heard was he is possibly in living in Tennessee. He was also enlisted in the Military/ National Guard. I’m looking for you...love Mommy... Mary Brownlee
274. RyanJoyner : My name is Ryan Joyner. My adopted parents names are Brenda and Johnny Joyner. From what I know I was born in Memphis/Southaven area February 12, 1992. I am white, and recently did ancestryDNA to try to find some ancestry. I know I have some lineage with a Sears family line at least. I am very curious about my lineage and birth family. I am around 6’3 and was told my birth father was tall as well.
275. 1southernbelle : I was adopted at birth out of the Mississippi Children’s Home Society in Jackson‚ MS. I recently discovered through my psychosocial history from the agency above that my birth mother had several brothers. My adoption application from my birth mother expressed that my birth grandmother and greatgrandmother both wanted me to stay in the family‚ but my birth mother wanted me to have both a mother and father. It stated that both my birth mother and father were 19 yo and both were expected to be going to college. If I can remember correctly‚ my mother had brown hair and my birth father had blonde hair and blue eyes. My birth mother’s hobbies were painting/art and her favorite subject in school was science and my father was well liked and had a positive personality. My file stated that my mother had been anemic for a spell while pregnant with me.
This is the extent of my knowledge and I am having a hard time getting the agency to return my calls. The last conversation that I had with the social worker was that she was going to research to see if there was an affidavit which would allow for further contact or a meeting with my birth parent/s. This is basically all I know. I have been greatly blessed with an amazing family and life full of love. but harbor a great desire to know with whom I’m rooted. I have no expectations of a relationship or to disrupt lives. Would just love to know them and thank them. Life is short and love is large!
