She was under the care of junita Shipp at the time. The couple who adopted me are alton jordean Johnson and Doris Faye Dean Johnson of Jackson Hinds Mississippi. I have 2 half siblings James and Mary Ann. I don’t know her married name. I was told that Peggy was from the Delta Yazoo area in Mississippi.
333. JohnsonMelissa1969 : I know my biological mothers name is Peggy Lassiter. Lassiter is her maiden name. I don’t know her married name. I know I have 3 half siblings. The boy’s name is James. The girls name is Maryann. I was born at the University medical center in Jackson Ms. When she was pregnant with me she stayed with a Juanita shipp that lived on Rosemary Dr. In Jackson Ms. I think she new my adopted parents. They are Alton Jordean Johnson of Jackson ms. & Doris Faye Dean Johnson of Jackson, Ms. I know Peggy’s birthday is either June the 6th or the 16th. The year I’m not sure , but is between 1955-1958. She was from the delta up north Ms is what I was told.
334. MEckart : My mother Patricia Stout was born in 1949. She gave birth in the 1960’s to a child, which is my half sibling. She passed away in 1982 when I was 10, and I have no way of getting any more info than I already have. She was sent away to give birth at a catholic school/home for troubled kids I think, and it was kept a secret. St Mary’s or Maryville Catholic, in Illinois, was the name of the orphanage.
335. JohnsonMelissa1969 : Peggy Lassiter (maidan name) gave birth to me on April 20 1069 at the University Medical center in Jackson Ms. I know I have 2 siblings that was born after me. Peggy is married now I don’t know her married name. But in that marriage she a had a boy named James & a daughter name Mary Ann. This is what I was told by Juanita shipp of Jackson Ms. She even showed me there pictures.
338. ERIKA1979pg : I was adopted in Mississippi in 1979 by my adopted Parents Janice and Eddie King. I found a letter at my adopted parents house with information stating that my name before adoption may have been Jerri Ann, the letter is old and a little faded. The last name look to be Connerly or Conner, not really sure. I know that my biological mother had another child who was younger than me( a girl). Her name begins with a P can’t make out the rest. In the letter it stated that she’s Caucasian and my father was African American. I was told that records are sealed at the court house in Claibourne County, MS.

Carolynclosure : Rose park Salt Lake City Itah, LDS Hospital, LDS Mormon Closed Adoption Agentcy, Donna ( believe to be dead but no death record found) and James Ross Williams LDS bishop (adoptive parents) my mom has Scottish Irish Dutch in her and many many many mental health and physical health and chemically imbalanced. I’m her daughter Chealsey Memmott and there has yet to be a trace with my moms weird adoption and would just love to know why she has so many health problems. I have beee raising my own mother since I have been 10 she could t teach me no more my dad was always leaving me to do so and I still don’t mind I love my mother and I have been fighting to see why her and Slowly I am have so many health problems. Mormons LDS Closed Adoptions got shut down for unlawful adoptions death coverups and her adoptive parent is a bishop. We just want closure. And we’re tired of assuming the most morbid news about all the inbreeding these Mormons are doing and what that inbreeding of human has done to the medical view of it diabetes was the first know human mutation of farming and inbreeding humans between poligamists, currently my 13 ur old was diagnost with us in a 2 month coma at age four. I’ve heard these rumors from outside people, but I asked my dad and he told me it’s true and mayb my mom with tell me the truth one day. 345. Vmiz1971 : I was born August 1971 and my adoption paperwork was finalized in November 1971.. My birth certificate says born in Harrison County, Mississippi no doctor, no hospital or city listed. The adoption paperwork was filed through Clara Hornsby in Biloxi, Mississippi. Mrs. Hornsby has passed away but even before she passed I contacted her office several times although no one ever responded. Both of my adopted parents have passed away and I was an only child. I’m searching for my birth father or any birth family that I may have. After 47 years I would love to finally meet them, only if they are willing. I have just recently discovered my birth mom although she wants nothing to do with me and will not give any information on my birth father.
