458. Aym1121 : The person who adopted my sister sent a picture to the biological mother few months after the baby was born. and on the back of the picture. Read katie not sure if its the real name or nick name. This was a closed adoption in Mississippi but believed the baby could have been adopted by someone living in another state.
460. MichelleB83 : I am searching for birth parents. I was born 9/8/83 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I was adopted after being taken from my mother. I injured in some way. Burns, bruises, broken bones? I was taken away and placed in the care of the people who would soon become my adoptive parents. My birth father or his parents came to the court hearing trying to get custody but the judge denied the claim and placed me with the family I was already with. I dont know the exact details and no one is willing to tell me. The person I knew who saw my mother that day in the medical clinic says I look just like her. I was contacted about 15 years ago by someone claiming to be my father’s sister. She was calling from Missouri but I was unable to speak to her because my adoptive parents would not allow it. Since then I found out that my social security number prefix traces to Missouri.
**I have contacted my state agency but they cannot help me as my records are sealed and I would have to appeal to a court to unseal them. I dont have the money to do that or I would have already done it.**
