I was young and in shock‚ and my parents or brothers have destroyed my copy of the paperwork related to this adoption. I only assume that‚ since he was born at Women’s Hospital in Jackson‚ Mississippi‚ and my attorney was from Columbus‚ Mississippi‚ that the adoption was legalized in Mississippi.
