I was adopted in Jackson, MS and my adoptive parents actually brought me home from the hospital (Hinds General Hospital) when only 5 days old. My adoptive daddy told my daughter then my birth mothers name was JoAnna. My adoptive mother seems to think that’s right. It was a private adoption so my birth certificate lists my adoptive parents as birth parents. I have the most wonderful life and 3 beautiful children. Finding the missing piece to my life puzzle would be amazing!
506. UnclBilly : I am looking for my niece who was adopted. She was adopted in either Biloxi, Mississippi or Gulfport, MS. Her adoption records are in Gulfport, but I cannot access. My brother, who is now deceased, is her father, her mother is still alive. She has two brothers and two sisters, and cousins, and uncles-including me, and aunts that want to meet her. My Father was known to frequent the Northern VA area ( Manassas, Front Royal , Alexandria , etc )
My Dad was a fairly secretive person so he failed to give me the information I need before he passed away in 1997.
I have been unable to find the marriage information for his first marriage. I do have a photo of him and the lady that has " Chad and Dee " wedding February 12 1972 . The lady could be my identical twin.
Another point worth mentioning is my Dads name was Carmel but he was said to have went by a few different names . Possibly Chad , Charles or Chas .
