676. Mollyann1985 : I am looking for a sister born 3 years before me. Mother is Carla Jeanette Smith, she was 19 years old, born February 18,1963. She was sent to an unwed mother’s home in Jackson, Ms. I am told this place no longer exist. My mother claims she gave the baby the name Amber Nicole Smith. I do not know if this name was actually on the birth certificate or just in her heart. She did not want to give her baby up but was made to by her parents because the baby girl was bi-racial.
677. 3grandsons : I am trying to find information about the birth parents of my mother, who was adopted by Dalmus Richard Nance and his wife Maggie Graves Nance in East St. Louis, IL. This may or may not have been a formal adoption. My mother was named Gladys and like born about 1920. DNA evidence has identified her father, Robert Lee Hawkins, of Panola Co. MS. DNA evidence strongly suggests her mother was one of two sisters, Edith Smith 1901 or Emma Smith 1905. Both at one time lived in Panola Co. Specifically. I am trying to determine which of these women is my biological grandmother.
679. Tabitha0911 : My dad Monroe was stationed in San Diego California with the US Marines in either 1973-1975 (?). He had claimed that he met a woman while in the marines‚ who became pregnant with his child. The only name that was ever mentioned was Jacqueline “Jackie”. My grandmother Ola had a picture of this little girl it was black and white‚ and on the bottom it said Jacqueline “Jackie” Morris. I cannot remember for sure but she was around the age of 2 or 3 with dark hair‚ & I believe had a dress on with a crochet shawl on‚ if I remember correctly. My dad was from southern Illinois at the time of his entry‚ although born in Caruthersville‚ MO. He enlisted into the Marine Corps at 17-18yrs of age. My dad has passed and I have no further information. I’ve included his Marine photo and hope that this may trigger a response.
680. Ruadhdesidhe : My adopted brother passed away in 2015 at the age of 53. I would like to find his birth family to share medical information. He mother was in an unwed mothers’ home in Alabama in 1962. The adoption was facilitated by a priest from Biloxi MS.
681. Amiemarie : I was young and new at the time I couldnot raise a child I gave my baby girl up to a family that I knew would take care of her they lived in Florida I’m looking for she would be 24 now I would love to just meet her
683. NathanNunez1983 : I’m pretty sure I was born in Biloxi, Ms and was adopted when I was only a few days old. I was told my Mom may have been young and her dad was in the services when I was born. I’m not sure but my father may have also been in the services.
685. 2Rawls : I am trying to locate biological mother, father, siblings or other family members for the following adopted person.
He was born January 27, 1971, at Forrest County General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. His adoption was “closed.” He weighed right around five pounds.
The adoptive parents were a preacher and his wife. My understanding is they brought him home from the hospital. Additionally, they hosted pregnant, unwed young ladies via connection to Bethesda Home for Girls.
If you have any information, please let me know. You have extended family here in Mississippi.
687. Crystalkm91 : Looking for my older biological brother born Aaron David Robles in Waterbury, CT on 11/25/1987. Adopted in 1994/5 in Gulfport, Mississippi. Biological mother, Valerie Robles dob 12/25/1966.
690. The_Darkness : Good day to you all
