801. MayLeLa84 : Hello! I’m looking for my Uncle. I have never met him. His birth name was William Donald Walling but he was nicknamed “Billy” when he lived with his parents Edward M. Walling and Irene C. Spraske (Spraski) as well as his older brother Edward A. Walling Jr in Connecticut. After Irene left (went missing?), my grandfather moved to California and lived there for a while and then to Utah where he made the decision to put Billy up for adoption because he was struggling. He was able to keep my dad, Edward. In 1968, my Grandpa Ed tried making arrangements to get Billy back to Utah, but did not follow due to circumstances. Sadly, my grandfather passed away several years ago and we have only recently found Irene. My father would love to be reunited with his brother. Thank you so much and much love! Mandy Lawson
803. Hez71 : I have been searching off and on hoping that maybe my daughter is also looking too and at the same time scared about the what if’s, but this is where I am going to roll the dice and play to see if there is an answer for me.
Tomorrow April 10th she will be 22 years old and remembering this day when I delivered her into this world feels like yesterday.
When I found out I was pregnant was so scary for me because I had no one and no family to help me and to make the decision the hardest decision to put her up for adoption and I went to LDS adoption services and the family I had chosen I knew could give her a better life. The family lived in Southern Utah and had another daughter they adopted I knew would be a great fit and we were suppose to have an open adoption but that did not happen.
22 years later I am hoping I can get an answer and better yet a reunion.
