783. Element1 : I delivered you at St Marks Hospital (SLC, Utah) 1/5/83 at 3:08 pm. You were adopted by friends of friends and I know they are grateful. My mom is 89, you are her 1st grandchild. I would love you to meet her. My family all live in Draper. I moved to Florida 32 years ago. I have always been grateful for facilitating your birth. I would like to meet you, your family and answer any questions you may have.
784. Kassideepetersen99 : I am trying to find an adopted sibling. My Dads name is Russ Petersen and he is the birth Father . All I know is the birth mothers name is Carianne but could be spelled differently. He was told by a case worker that she would be giving birth to a baby girl around Valentine’s Day of 1995 and that the birth mother had chosen adoption and he was asked to sign to agree on the very day he even found out she was pregnant . He never heard anything else. This was in Utah.
785. Skyblue10 : Looking for any siblings that might have born in 1967 or 1968 or 1969 The hospital could’ve been in Washington state or Salt Lake City Utah. The birth mother Joyce Elizabeth Chaston was a young mother at the time between 24 years old to 26 years old from Salt Lake City Utah. At the time could of had more children her last names she had was Binch, Rasmussen, Armitage, Taylor, Monge and maybe Murphey
787. Mboardman : I would like to reconnect with my son whom I placed for adoption as I was only 14 when I had him I tried for a year to raise him and felt it best he have a 2 parent household who could meet his needs
791. Jpanda447 : Her name was Ashley Christine Hurt, but last time I talked to her, about 14 years ago, she had changed her full name. It was Liz or Elizabeth or something along those lines, I can`t remember. But I really want to find my sister.
792. MaureenFitzgerald : She was born on 03/26/1986 at Woodland Park Hospital in Portland‚ OR. The adoption was through the LDS Adoption agency. The adoption agency misspelled my last name on the papers and I had to initial the correction each time they typed Fritzgerald rather than Fitzgerald.
I have recently discovered from the State of Oregon the adoption was not filed in Oregon. I chose the State of Utah since LDS Family Services is headquartered there.
794. ALPorter : My child is biracial (Black/White), adopted to an LDS family. He was born at Utah Valley Hosp, Provo, Utah. I kept him for 3 days until adoptive parents could come get him. LDS social worker was Beverly Edwards. I exchanged letters with adoptive mom for 6 months until adoption was finalized and all contact ceased per adoption agreement. Born 8:54 PM, 7lbs 12oz, 21". A+ blood type. Baby name at hospital listed as Hall, mother listed as Lynn, though both names fictional. Pediatrician at hospital was Robinson. Second tag had baby listed as Peterson, mother listed as Kathy, again both fictional. I made him a baby blanket and sent him with a journal so he would know I loved him and why I chose to put him up for adoption. Adoptive mom and I shared stories and I remember that they had no idea they were getting him but the dad had bought a crib on a business trip out of the blue a few weeks prior and when grandparents were told of the adoption they said they had just bought a car seat for Christmas for the parents even though they had been waiting 9 years for a child. I tried submitting my name and address to LDS social services in Provo just before his 21st birthday as Beverly had instructed but was told all records were lost in a flood and Beverly had passed so there was nothing they could do.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
