1618. Kristenisclever : My name is Kristen Acosta (Kirkwood) - I know a large amount of details about my adoptive situation. I have siblings on my "sperm donor’s" side that I am fairly close to as an adult now. My biological mother has passed away since and I did attend her funeral and luckily enough was able to meet and spend time with her before this. I am simply trying to get my files from the state of Utah. I was looking for my long-form‚ "book copy" of my original birth certificate simply because I was looking for the time I was born. I now have a daughter myself‚ am curious and want this information. It’s my information‚ my identity‚ and my story - I don’t just want this information‚ I am owed this information. The state of Utah has refused to give me access and stated I have to wait until November as a Utah bill recently passed to make getting this information easier. This is unacceptable to me. I am looking for support‚ a community that has been through this‚ and overall help.
1619. Jasminehouse672 : I honestly don’t have much do go off of‚ but I wanna find my sister. All I know is her name is Eliza‚ and she was born a year before me. 1620. Christopherromo : I now I had a daughter with a female and I was never able to stay in contact because I was wrongfully incarcerated because of my mistake of not owning up to my fatherhood. I met her on state she was white I am half Mexican and half Salvadoran. My name is Christopher John Romo. Birthdate 05/27/1993. I think they took my child from the mother because she had a drug problem. This was in 2016 up on until today and my thing is I'm trying to be that father and reunite with my daughter if she still wants me to be a part of her life.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
