377. Char7 : My brother’s gf gave up a baby for adoption in the summer of 1968. Baby was born in Utah in June or July. I am the baby’s aunt. Baby’s bio mother was in a home for unwed mothers in Utah prior to birth. She was taken to hospital (I think) for birth and put to sleep for birth. Not sure if she was aware of the baby’s gender. The home may have been run by Mormons as baby’s bio family were Mormon. My brother is terminally ill and my mother (baby’s bio paternal grandmother) and we would LOVE to meet my brother’s only offspring. We all live in New Mexico, including birth mother. My brother and his girlfriend were teenagers at the time and are now 67 years old.
