A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Utah Who Chose To Be Featured
286. PnwBelle : I am searching for the records of an adopted child who is likely L. Bambrough. I believe she is the daughter of my Aunt (below). A member of my family is registered on 23andme with DNA results that may help prove relationship if that is a possibility for responding party.
289. Williamsmoon : I have a half brother who was named Richard at birth, his father was Japanese, his father’s name was Yoshio Shintani. My mother was white , her name was Laurel Leone Jones, im not sure if they were married. He was born in Utah sometime between 1944 & 1945 when the country of Japan and America were at war. My mother’s family made her give him up because neighbors were hostile to them because she was with a Japanese man and had a Japanese baby. Her grandmother took the baby and said she found him a family who would adopt him. Both my mom and the father are deceased now. We’ve been searching for years, he would be about 71-73 yrs old today. I really don’t know when he was born, my mother refused to talk about him.
291. An2834 : I’m looking for my birth mother. She was in high school and hid the pregnancy for awhile. I was born at LDS Hospital by Dr. Bryner. It was a closed adoption through a law firm.
292. Miahup1 : All i know is my birth mom was a track and field runner from Sweden and my birth father was a football player both in college in Utah when they met and I was born at utah valley hospital
294. HPHarris : Private adoption in Salt Lake City, Utah after birth. Adoption finalized years later in Texas. I am fairly certain of father, yet lookig for birth mother
295. Jenhawkins : I am searching for my birth father- in 1994 he was living in Logan, UT. He went by Adan Melo and/or Ruben Zapato and is Mexican. In the early 90s he was working at the Tri-Miller meat packing plant. I have no idea where to start looking and I have such limited information. I recently came in contact with my birth mother and she was able to supply me with all of the above information- which is the only information I have. Any help is appreciated!
300. SA1985 : I was born 9/4/85 in SLC and adopted a couple days later. Adoption through LDS services. My birth parents were teenagers, but they/she had a daughter about two years old that she had kept.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
