I was in Maryland after that. We separated about December of 1982/1983 and she was pregnant at that time. I was born in San Juan‚ Puerto Rico July 13‚ 1950. Elizabeth (Liz) was born in Flushing‚ Queens‚ New York City‚ New York December 18‚ 1956. She passed away on February 18‚ 2003 in Dothan Alabama. At that time she was living with or married to Rodney Bryan Bolin. Liz and I had two boys‚ David (1975) and Michael (1977). I was told that Liz named our daughter Ann (after her sister). I believe she had two other children with Mr. Bolin. I do not know where she had our child or where she might have been given up. I do not know when she was born. Whoever you are... You are so very loved and wanted. You have family who only wants to know you‚ to love you‚ to give you love.

My father's name is Nestor (Ned) Fidel Burgos and and my mother's name was Elizabeth (Liz) Mae Skidmore. I was born in Bethesda‚ Maryland in 1975. My younger brother‚ Michael was born in Baltimore‚ Maryland in 1977. We also lived in Gaithersburg‚ Maryland Rockville‚ Maryland Silver Springs‚ Maryland Frederick‚ Maryland and in Los Angeles County‚ California. My father also lived in Pennsylvania‚ Florida‚ and New Hampshire. My mother also lived in Dothan‚ Alabama‚ where she passed away February 18‚ 2003. I last saw my mother in 1982/1983. My mother's sister‚ Ann Farrell (nee Skidmore) told me that my mother told her that she named my sister Ann and gave her up for adoption. My mother had two more children with a man named Rodney Bolin. I do not know them. I hope to find my sister‚ to know her‚ to love her‚ to be a part of her life. I always wanted a little sister. I am married with five children of my own and my brother‚ Michael is married with two children. I have DNA on Ancestry.com.

I did meet my birth mother Elizabeth Atwood (deceased) from Surry ME. A beautiful house overlooking a bay‚ postcard stuff here. We did really get along but after she met my two kids I could tell that she was not a fan of children. Plus the stigma of being a single pregnant woman in Puritanical New England.
My inquiry is twofold...first of all minimum information about my birth father (date rape). Secondly I was in foster care for a couple years and even given a different name...talk about identity issues sprinkled with abandonment anxiety!
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I start this journey.

688. Richdonruth : The sibling that I am searching for is my younger sister. Her name at birth was Nancey Hansen. She was born in Portland Me at the old Osteopathic Hospital On Brighten Av. Her parents names were Charlotte {Hansen} Slocomb and Stanley Slocomb. She was adopted through the DHS of Portland Maine. I think the family that adopted her was from Brunswick Maine. They used to bring her to our house in Portland until her adoption took place . I was 8 at the time but I will never forget her.
