466. Ecurtis618 : ISO my birth mother—I was born June 18th, 1984 at Webber Hospital in Biddeford, Maine (now Southern Maine Medical Center). I believe the name my birth mother gave me was Tiffany. I think I was born between 7am-8am, weighing about 8.6 pounds with blue eyes. Closed adoption through St. Andre’s in Biddeford Maine. My birth mother was approximately 18-19 yo and about 5’2”. It sounds like my birth father was not involved with my birth mother during the pregnancy from the little info I do know. It’s reported that he is 6’7” and was approximately 21 yo at the time of my birth. One of them was allergic to chocolate—thankfully I am not.
Reason for surrender written by birth mother was some like: I cannot provide her with the life she deserves. I want her to have a loving home with a mother and father.
Would like to meet her to let her know that I am ok and think about her often. I have two children of my own now and I truly cannot imagine how difficult this decision was—a selflessness act of true love. My adopted mom always reminded me that you gave her greatest gift anyone could ever give, a child. I am very fortunate to say I had amazing & loving childhood with a father, mother and younger brother. I also want her to know I never once felt abandoned by her or carry any resentment. In fact just the opposite—only love ❤️
