Mom was young 14-15 years old‚ a good student‚ and of Italian origin. Dad was a bit holder and of Irish descent. Then a was transferred to Vermont for adoption. My parents were Canadian‚ but the father worked in Vermont for a few years (Wells River). Around 2 yrs old we moved back to Canada where I still live. Would really need to find my parents‚ at least to verify if cancer or other illnesses are in my biological parent’s tree. Hopefully‚ this will be read by my parents or a family member. Hoping its not too late. Always been searching... Would love to know if I got brothers and sisters ect...

492. BabyLMN : My 2 siblings and I were recently told that our mother, Lorraine Norton, had a child when she was a teen (possibly 17-19yrsold) that my grandfather, Ralph Norton, gave up for adoption. My mother may have been told that she had a miscarriage because she said that she had had a miscarriage prior to marrying my father and we just assumed that my father was the "miscarried" child’s father also. My mother did not finish her senior of high school and we were told that she had to quit to go to work. At the time, she lived with her parents in Portland, Maine.

494. Ecurtis618 : ISO my birth mother—I was born June 18th, 1984 at Webber Hospital in Biddeford, Maine (now Southern Maine Medical Center). I believe the name my birth mother gave me was Tiffany. I think I was born between 7am-8am, weighing about 8.6 pounds with blue eyes. Closed adoption through St. Andre’s in Biddeford Maine. My birth mother was approximately 18-19 yo and about 5’2”. It sounds like my birth father was not involved with my birth mother during the pregnancy from the little info I do know. It’s reported that he is 6’7” and was approximately 21 yo at the time of my birth. One of them was allergic to chocolate—thankfully I am not. Reason for surrender written by birth mother was some like: I cannot provide her with the life she deserves. I want her to have a loving home with a mother and father. Would like to meet her to let her know that I am ok and think about her often. I have two children of my own now and I truly cannot imagine how difficult this decision was—a selflessness act of true love. My adopted mom always reminded me that you gave her greatest gift anyone could ever give, a child. I am very fortunate to say I had amazing & loving childhood with a father, mother and younger brother. I also want her to know I never once felt abandoned by her or carry any resentment. In fact just the opposite—only love ❤️
