I was the oldest, my name at the time was Christopher Lee Meyers. We were taken away around when i was 2 n half years old. I went through many foster homes until age 7 n half and was adopted. I would like to meet my siblings from my bloodline.
213. BambiMorrow2018 : My sons name at birth was Patrick Timothy James Morrow. He was adopted with his sister, who born in 2001. Patrick was born in Gainesville, Florida at Shands Hospital. The agency involved in the adoption was The State of Maine Children and Family Services in Sanford, Maine. At the time of the adoption, I was told both my children were adopted together, however I am not 100% sure if that was true. The case worker on the case was Laurie Ann Witney. I was supposed to of had an open adoption where I could still be in contact, however the case worker stated that she felt it was best if I didnt and would not give me the letter the adoptive parents had written to me. The last time I saw my children was October 16, 2004. Patrick was 5 and his sister was one month shy of being 3. The foster parents names were Trisha and Jack.

222. BluePhoenix1972 : I was told my grandmother placed a child for adoption about the time my mother was 16. Someone asked if maybe it was my mother who placed the child...
223. Crisleem : I’m doing the research, I am not the family member. The searcher is the niece of the adoptee.
Birth mother: Odette Marie Theresa O’Brien. Her maiden name was Andrea but at the time of this birth, Odette was divorced and likely still using the last name O’Brien. She later married and became Odette Haskell. Odette was born 09 May 1926 in Nancy, Lorraine, France. She passed away in 2006. Her older daughter was 16 at the time this child was born. That daughter’s name was Nancy O’Brien, born 1946, also in Nancy, France. She too has passed away. The niece believes the child could have been adopted anywhere throughout the New England area but the family lived in Livermore Falls, Maine at the time. But frequently were in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. According to Odette’s sister, who is still living but in her 90s, the child was born in the Spring of 1962 but she can not remember the actual date. No one knows the name of the father. It was simply said that he was a divorced man from the area. The searching niece as done a DNA test on 23andme.com only.

225. Janisehall427 : I believe that my father, Michael Daigle and his girlfriend, Anthena Court, gave a baby boy up for adoption 9 or so years ago. I know that she was pregnant while they were homeless, and she went to the hospital to give birth, and we never saw the baby. They refuse to talk about it, and honestly I’m not sure whether the baby survived and was relinquished, or died at Birth. The baby would have been born in Southern Maine, probably in Portland OR Biddeford. I’m not sure of the exact date, just that he would be around 9 years old now.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
