A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Maine Who Chose To Be Featured
526. AOwen87 : My Father met a lady in St Pete Florida a couple years before I was born (1987). My Fathers name is Randall aka Randy Owen he and my uncle Geoff had a fling with the lady and I am unsure if the brother is question may be my sibling or my cousin but I want to know. Last I remember my Dad saying is the lady took off with the boy and gave him up for adoption I think in Louisiana or Georgia I’m not sure. I do know it was a closed adoption.
528. QuimbyGranddaughter : Born Bangor‚ Maine‚ July 4th‚ 1959.
Don’t know anything about birth parents. I’m the adoptees daughter. I’ve been on the hunt to find our biological relatives.
He went into the airforce after high school‚ in Texas. He’s got a darker complexion‚ definitely not pale like myself. He has red in his skin that gets way darker during the summer and does not have a lot of body hair.
His adopted parents’ names‚ Lawrence Quimby and Dorothy (Dunlap) Quimby. Unity College Library named after her.
They were both in education fields.
Locations lived: Unity‚ Maine.
529. Jbourque19 : I am searching for my dad. I’m curious about his family‚ and I know he wonders/worries about some of his siblings (half?) but is too traumatized to reach out himself. He was born 08/18/1996 and wasn’t adopted until he was 15-17 years old. Very unsure about dates. I’m pretty certain he was adopted very close to where he was born‚ near Portland‚ ME. The adoption could have technically been finalized after he moved to Florida with his adoptive parents though. Before he was adopted his last name was Hood‚ but I’m pretty certain that isn’t the name on his birth certificate though‚ it was the last name of his bio-mom’s husband when he was very young. He had “a lot” of brothers (probably half‚ bio mom’s kids)‚ one of which was named Timmy or Tommy and “about 10 years younger”. He also had one half or step sister very close in age to him‚ he doesn’t remember much else. His name is Michael so it makes it hard to pin anything down. As far as he knows his middle name‚ Scott‚ was never changed.
531. Mamabear393 : We need genetic information from birth mother and family. Our daughter has and illness that may be genetic. She was born in Augusta‚ Maine in the Augusta hospital. I have birth mother name‚ her date of birth and last known address.

533. Bwfarrar : We are looking for adoption records for Great Grandmother.
Her name was Alice Gray‚ adopted by the Nathan Morse family from Paris‚ Maine a few years after her birth. Her birth mother was Harriett Deering from Portland‚ Maine. We are trying to learn who the birth father was.
Alice Gray (Morse and than married John A Ross) is reportedly born August 28‚ 1871in Portland‚ Maine or possibly Paris‚ Maine. her father’s last name may have been King but we think not. It has been told that her real father was Mulato and a coach driver from Portland‚ Maine
534. Htsande : Recently found out our Mom‚ Rebecca Ann Sharp‚ had a baby a few years before us. We are looking for him. Born in Boise Idaho early 1976.
536. SGambino : I’m looking for information about my aunt born in 1938 in Presque Isle Maine. Her birth name was Shirley Shaw. We believe her biological parents were Dennis and Alice Shaw. Louis and Marion Cash from Rockport Maine adopted her when she was about 18 months old and named her Carol Cash.
538. SarinaElizabeth : I am looking for my Aunt.
My grandmother became pregnant in High School and said she was sent the the Methodist Home for Un Wed mothers in Brooklyn NY.
539. Pooh0215 : My name is Michelle and I am looking for anyone who knows that their biological fathers name is Phililp (Phil) Ecker. I know he has lived in Florida. So far there are 2 of us that I have been able to find and I have been told that there are more. My father loved women and has been married 6 times if that helps. LOL!
540. Ghost1513 : I’m looking for a peter card. Possibly related to a carol kelley. From the STOVER family. He may be a twin. Carol his suspected mother has since been deceased and apon going through her things we have suspicion to believe she has an estranged son. We would like to find him.... they were in bath maine.
