347. JoanneGillies : I was born at the St. Andre’s Home for unwed mothers in Biddeford Pool, Maine June 18, 1947. I have a copy of my original birth certificate prior to adoption. It states my mother is Anita Bolduc 20yo at my birth (no date of birth indicated for her). No father was listed. It states Anita Bolduc was born in Waterville, Maine and was living in Belgrade, Maine at the time of my birth. Research shows that names of mother’s at St. Andre’s were often changed for privacy. Through DNA research I have found a strong Bolduc line.

Casey1982 : Just trying to find out not sure where and the people I remember do not supposedly exist and more I’m smart outgoing good hearth I have a funny way of leraning it’s all hands on I don’t let well from reading or telling me to read something I get distracted easily but I’m super smart and some people say no personality at all they any tell wether I’m joking or being serious alot of the time and I’m very honest about stuff some people say way to honest that it scares them sometimes because I don’t really know how to talk to people alot from a rough childhood and I just try to write stuff or say it another way so they understand I can draw write poetry sing and color real well very talented and educated too I always start something and learn what I need them never finish because I get distracted or bored real easily and I’m sometimes forgetful alot because I get lost iny own little world sometimes and I have a very short attention span and have to get things out right wlaway or I forget them but I’m very respectful and have good manners also I was later told in life around 29 yeah old that I had cardio myopthy and progressed to CHF I believe o was adopted by a not to be rude or disrespectful but a tall well how I remember a tall blackman that was heavy set...

She has found her biological brothers and discovered that she had a sister born a couple of years before or after her that had also been adopted. Unfortunately her mom has passed so we cannot ask for more information. We are looking for their missing sister.

353. Dsyeaton : We looked for decades for a missing cousin. We found his sibling several years ago via cousinconnect and him this year (2019) via DNA, about two weeks before their birth mother our aunt died. She was born in 1960 and adopted in FL. He was born in 1958, adopted in CA, and lives in UT. At our aunt’s funeral, neighbors told us that in her last months, she told them she had children. Three or four children. Neighbors have told us that the aunt (born 1936) became pregnant in high school (1950-1955 if this is true) or at age 17 (1953-1954 if this is true) and was sent to FL to have the baby. We do not know much: mother’s maiden name, if listed: Anderson, birth state of mother: MA, she was very tall and thin, loved animals and dogs, Danish, German, English ethnicity. We have done DNA on ancestrydna and 23andme. If this is you....or you think it could be you because part of the story matches...please do DNA testing so that we can see if we match! And we are unsure why there were said to be: three or four children. Could it have been twins, which run in our family? Or is there another child with a different birth year and possible different birth and adoption state? These birth years are only guesses...it conceivably could have been any time after her birth in 1936 as maybe a teen (1949 or before?) to menopause (maybe before 1986?) but most likely in the 1950s or 1960s. Do any of these guesses for you or someone you know? We are a dozen cousins looking for decades!
