A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Maine Who Chose To Be Featured
316. JasmineAyers : I don’t know much about my brother. Except that as far as I know he was adopted before I was born. We shared the same father, brad Ayers, but had different mothers. He was around 2 or 3 when I was born so I would say he probably was born in 1997 or 1996.
317. LoriAnne1963 : Notre-Dame Biddford Maine
Saint Andres Home was the adoption agency.
Birth mother gave up another daughter in 1963 through St Andres also.
Birth mothers name was: Roseanne Ellen Yorks, 21, 22?yrs old at the time.
318. Bmoody75 : My father was adopted and never knew him but knew he was adopted. He passed away in 2015 so I can no longer get the information from him.
320. ComlyWhite2019 : My father was taken away and adopted back in 1942. For many years he knew very little about his biological family. He knew his father’s last name was White and he was taken away from his mother, because his biological father was never home or supporting him and his siblings.
In the late 90’s his biological niece found him and showed us some of the family including her father which was adopted as well. As well as his mother Nellie E. Poush White, his half siblings, Beverly, Bill, and Jerry and his biological father Denver Thomas White.
When I had the opportunity to talk to Denver, I asked him how many aunts and uncles I have. His answer was he was a truck driver that drove from coast o coast and he had a warm bed and cuddle buddy at every stop.
So I am looking for my biological family that are the children or grandchildren of Denver Thomas White.
If that names sounds like someone you know please, please contact me!
321. Jmmsdustin : I am searching for my first cousin. She is the daughter of my aunt. She would have been born in the Indiana/Illinois/Ohio or Tennessee area in April/May 1959. My aunt was 18 when she gave her up at birth. She may have stayed with a family tied to the Methodist Church. Her family would really like to connect with this child. My aunts name is Pegge Lakins and the father’s name is David Culp. Please contact me if you can help provide clues or have any information that may help. I have included a picture of her mom/my aunt.
322. Siirilee : Her birth name was Gloria Jean. She was born in Norway, Oxford County, Maine we think.
Birth Mother was Nancy Lorraine Drake
Born at Norway Hospital
324. Nigel1979 : Looking for brother whose name at birth was Shaun or Shawn. Born to father Mario Johnson while he was in the Army married to your mother name of Thelma
325. Lastwish : I am his aunt. My sister passed away without ever finding her son. She tried for almost 50 years to find him. He was her only child‚ she was never able to have another child. Please if anyone knows a male possibly with reddish hair‚ freckles‚ the father had red hair‚ that was born at Eastern Maine Medical Center on Feb. 11‚ 1970. All I know is that the adoptive father may have been a doctor.
326. JoanneGillies : I was born at the St. Andre’s Home for unwed mothers in Biddeford Pool, Maine June 18, 1947. I have a copy of my original birth certificate prior to adoption. It states my mother is Anita Bolduc 20yo at my birth (no date of birth indicated for her). No father was listed. It states Anita Bolduc was born in Waterville, Maine and was living in Belgrade, Maine at the time of my birth. Research shows that names of mother’s at St. Andre’s were often changed for privacy. Through DNA research I have found a strong Bolduc line.
