1007. PeggyKeelan : I am doing family history research. Through Eileen Viola I discovered that her mother‚ Theresa Endrizzi Viola adopted Joseph Gallucci at age 13 in 1965. It's an unusual story‚ as Theresa lived in Morgantown‚ had 11 other children‚ and her husband had just been killed in a work accident. She read about Joe and decided to bring him into her family. They embraced him and adopted him‚ although he kept his name as Gallucci. On his wedding certificate he listed his father as James Frederick Gallucci and his birth mother as Virginia Luzader. So he knew his birth mother and father. I am just curious about how at age 13 he ended up in the Children's Home of Wheeling (WVA). I don't think his birth parents ever married. Joseph Gallucci passed away this past December 2025. I wish I had found him before he died to ask him more! Would love any info someone can give me.
1009. Jessica927 : I'm looking for my cousin‚ who was adopted at birth. I don't have much info except that it was through a Catholic maternity home. My best guess of the year is between 1964 and 1968‚ but that could be off by a few years. The last name is Speelman‚ and the family was living in NJ at the time‚ but there is a good chance she was sent out of state.
1012. Crault : Original birth name (potential): Paul Williams
Name after adoption: William Harlan Ault
Adopted parents: William Mathew Ault and Gertrude E. Habig Ault
Looking for original birth family
1014. ChristopherMullins : I’m looking for my brother. I have an image of him. Blonde hair blue eyes‚ got adopted at anywhere between 2-5 years of age. Should be born in McDowell or Mercer‚ WV and adopted out in one of those areas. His father is named Hobart Joshua Mullins‚ and I was given a tip that he could’ve possibly been named after him. Possibly called Junior. Would love to find him.
1015. RichardZ : I've been looking for 17 years for my daughter Hannah Marie Walton at birth‚ last name now Ramsey. Last known location was Kentucky.
She was barely 2 when I lost her.
I have all original court papers‚ and 2 photos. I have sent multiple letters over the past 17 years but to no avail.
She was born in west virginia‚ her mother's name is Stephanie Walton. She has an older sibling shaylea Zickefoose as well.
1017. Athornquest : I already know my biological mother's side of the family. I am looking for my biological father. My birth mother really hasn't been much help in finding him.
1019. TaviaBiggins : I'm looking for my children. Taken from me by clarksburg‚ WV courts‚ due to my ptsd. Steven Anthoney Biggins born june 30th 2005 in elkins wv. Malichi Rain Wagner born june 27th 2006 in elkins wv. And Astrid Payton-Reese Wagner born July 22nd 2008 elkins wv.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
