601. AYear32 : I’m looking on behalf of my dad who is the adoptee. We are searching for his parents. He may have been adopted through the Catholic charities but there are no adoption records left. We have one birth certificate dating back to 1944.
There is no record of his birth in his home county, Harrison. So we think it may be possible that he was born in a different county or even state. We’re just not sure. Any help is appreciated!! We have health concerns in our family and really would like to know the truth.

She was married to our father, and was his first wife, and was married to him through out his career in the Navy for a couple of years. They moved to Florida, and divorced there. He married my mother which was his second wife, and when she was pregnant with me, my mother told me she had come to see my mother, and told her that she had remarried and her boys were going to be adopted by her new husband, possibly a Florida Deputy Sheriff.
