587. Dianajo : I have recently found that I have a 1/2 sister that my mother put up for adoption. She gave her the name of Judith Carol. My mother’s name was Carolyn Knapp at the time. My mother was at the Crittenton Home (home for unwed mothers) in Wheeling‚ WV. I’m not sure what hospital she gave birth at. The adoptive parents received the child shortly after her birth.

589. DenaMarie : I was born “supposedly” December 7th 1990 at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling WV although the facts surrounding my birth have always been a mystery. I was told that my birth name was “Alexis Dawn” and that my mothers last name was possibly “Sandy”. My entire life has been a mystery. I find bits and pieces out about my adoption every so often and only because I pry until something comes out (from adoptive parents). I do not believe I was placed up for adoption, I was possibly taken by the state so I would’ve been placed through the state. I was told that I was returned to my biological mother at some point but then put back into foster care. I have a baby book my foster mother made for me with very few photos in it because “most of the photos up until 3 months of age were returned to birth mother” according to a note my foster mother had left inside the book. I grew up never knowing where I can from, never knowing anyone that looked like me or understanding why I am the person I am. I would love to connect the pieces and find my birth family... even just see what they look like. I’m open to siblings, parents, anything. I lived in West Virginia until I was 28 so I was adopted and raised only about an hour away from where I was born.
This site is weird about the photos it lets you upload size wise but I have others, baby photos and pictures from childhood if they could help.

I am searching for my birth parents... The information I’ve obtained thus far is they are of Romanian/Moldova/Germany/Hungarian decent. I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’.
I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well...
