Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each other on Adopted.com! In Victoria, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to obtain access to identifying information including their original birth certificate, court and agency records. Those wishing to obtain access to information must also participate in a mandatory interview, which can take place in person or over the phone in the case that the adoptee lives overseas. As of July 1, 2013, birth parents are also able to obtain identifying information regarding the adopted child.

719. Wirapong : I met our son when helping out at a babies home in Pakkret‚ Bangkok‚ where I was helping out for a few hours a week together with some other expats. I was asked by staff if I could maybe look after him at home for a few weeks‚ because they were understaffed. He soon stole everyone s heart. He stayed for good and when we returned to Australia he was allowed‚ after a long fight with AU and Thai‚ authorities‚ to come with us in 1994. 2003 the adoption application was accepted. Wirapong has severe Cerebral palsy and Quadriplegia. But he is a wonderful little (beeing Thai) man‚ loved by everyone. We just would love to find his birthmum. Would be very grateful for your help. Wirapong was born in hospital at Phitsanulok Thailand‚ premature.
