Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each other on Adopted.com! In Victoria, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to obtain access to identifying information including their original birth certificate, court and agency records. Those wishing to obtain access to information must also participate in a mandatory interview, which can take place in person or over the phone in the case that the adoptee lives overseas. As of July 1, 2013, birth parents are also able to obtain identifying information regarding the adopted child.

I recently found out he is my biological father but because he was adopted by the aforementioned I can’t seem to find my ancestry and heritage and would be very grateful to find out who his birth mother and father were. Rodney lived in a boys home which I would love the name of‚ before he was adopted by the aforementioned. My birth mother is deceased and my birth father and I just want to know a bit more about my heritage.

Brydiegeddes : Bit of a long shot but I was looking for my mothers birth mother‚ my mother passed as i was a child now as an adult I’m curious about my grandmother and grandfather I don’t have much information nor do i even believe I’ll have luck finding them both based off such little information i have‚ the information i was given was that my mother was given up for adoption in bendigo VIC on or around 1969 her D.O.B was 8/02/1969 her mother and father both worked as truck drivers when they bet i believe he’s name way ray (not 100% though) I do have the first names of both my grandmother and my mother (before her name was changed after the adoption) although i cannot remember which one was named what the two names i have are rayleen (possibly misspelled) and lauraine (also possibly misspelled)

Apparantly after we were released from hospital‚ she had a house in Peterborough.... not sure of the events eventually she moved in with my adopted father Peter Hempel‚ at Neds Corner Station Victoria‚ just over the Sth Aust/Victorian border... My Fathers name apparently is Peter Gibb or Gibbs.... Lived in Mount Gambier‚ was in a band and at time of conception and was playing at the Victor Harbor hotel. A six week or probably day fling. My mother refuses to give me anymore information which is quiet disrespectfuli think
