Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In Victoria, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to obtain access to identifying information
including their original birth certificate, court and agency records. Those wishing to obtain access
to information must also participate in a mandatory interview, which can take place in person or
over the phone in the case that the adoptee lives overseas. As of July 1, 2013, birth parents are
also able to obtain identifying information regarding the adopted child.
A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Victoria Who Chose To Be Featured
616. SF1957 : We understand that Ellery Corona Fullerton Murray (born 19 June 1902) travelled from Devonport Tasmania to either Sydney or Melbourne to give birth to a daughter. She was a resident of Devonport‚ unmarried at the time and we believe that she would have given up the child for adoption sometime between 1920 - 1927. She married on 11 April 1930 and had one son Peter who was born on 31 July 1930. While we believe that Peter’s sister is unlikely to be alive we are interested in finding any family members of Ellery Campbell (nee Murray).

This is all new to me!!
I’m searching for my older sister she was born March 27th 1970 at The Royal Woman’s Hospital‚ Carlton‚ Melb.
Our Mum who was 16 at the time named you Gillian‚ my sister & I only found out about you after my parents separated which was a big surprise.
For some reason over the years Mum had always thought our Nanna had all the relevant documentation but Mum was provided with nothing‚ it all happened so fast and you went off with your new family.
Mum has never forgotten you‚ every b’day she’s missed she celebrated with you‚ she just hopes you are doing good and had an amazing life.
I am the younger sister born 10 years after you.
628. Mandy-6970 : Hi....I’m doing my family tree maiden name‚ EDOLS.
Alice Maude Marshall married Richard Ralston (Dick) Edols 13.11.1893 in Geelong Vic. They adopted a little girl/baby who is supposed to have come from her side of the family.
Her name in Midge Maud Gilalia/Giladia Edols. I dont know if 1894 is her actual birth year or the year she was adopted. Midge died 4.12.1975 Brighton VIC #109. She went on to marry William Sydenham Graham 23.7.1919 in Geelong Vic #5654.
According to Alice & Dick marriage cert‚ her parents are David Marshall & Mary nee Reedy #6806
I have a birth cert for Alice but it maybe the wrong one as her dad is Henry #2465/1860 NSW. She died 24.2.1930 In Malvern VIC #2000.
Dick was born 24.7.1855 Geelong VIC #7830 and passed 14.11.1934 Malvern VIC #10069.
