Victoria Adoption Reunion Registry

Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each other on Adopted.com! In Victoria, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to obtain access to identifying information including their original birth certificate, court and agency records. Those wishing to obtain access to information must also participate in a mandatory interview, which can take place in person or over the phone in the case that the adoptee lives overseas. As of July 1, 2013, birth parents are also able to obtain identifying information regarding the adopted child.

Hoping to find him‚ I don’t know if he knows he was adopted but im sure if he did that he would be unaware that he has a half brother in me as post adoption my mother never made contact with him or vise versa. Not sure where to start or how it will eventuate but I feel this site may be a goood place to start.
