Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In Victoria, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to obtain access to identifying information
including their original birth certificate, court and agency records. Those wishing to obtain access
to information must also participate in a mandatory interview, which can take place in person or
over the phone in the case that the adoptee lives overseas. As of July 1, 2013, birth parents are
also able to obtain identifying information regarding the adopted child.

If you had a son born on or around 22nd August 1984 in Melbourne‚ Victoria‚ Australia.
The only background info he knows to believe is that he was originally named David by his birth mother. She was around 17 years old at the time and employed as a pharmacy assistant somewhere in Melbourne. His birth father was apparently a sheep shearer‚ with no further info about him.
He was adopted out at approx 6 months of age to a married couple‚ Warren & Robyn Phillips‚ who were resident within the rural township of Horsham‚ Victoria.
Not certain if all of these details are factual‚ but are what he has been raised to believe‚ as told from his adoptive parents.
Please get in touch if there is a chance you could be his birth mother or father‚ or possibly even a family member.
With much appreciation.
