Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In Victoria, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to obtain access to identifying information
including their original birth certificate, court and agency records. Those wishing to obtain access
to information must also participate in a mandatory interview, which can take place in person or
over the phone in the case that the adoptee lives overseas. As of July 1, 2013, birth parents are
also able to obtain identifying information regarding the adopted child.
A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Victoria Who Chose To Be Featured
586. Fiona_Jackson : I’m searching for children of Brian Jackson aka Brian Lake. Lived in Melbourne Australia‚ but he traveled a lot from what I’ve been told. It sounds like he was the Oprah of sperm - you have some‚ and you have some‚ and you have some‚ but didn’t stick around for the responsibility part. Children would have been born from maybe 1965 onwards. So far we are three with knowledge of a definite one more but doubt it stopped there.
587. DavidLC1949 : Birth mother was Marion Landrigan.
Searching for sister‚ named Margaret at birth. I was born afterwards in 1949 and also adopted out. We have another sister‚ Patricia‚ who was raised by our mother. Margaret may have connections to England and Canada.
Believe she stayed with the nuns until age 4 or 5 in Melbourne until being adopted out.
588. Tessamf0 : I’m looking for my half brother‚ his birth name was James and I believe his adopted parents gave him the new name of Ryan. I believe his adoptive mother was a nurse. I have tried to connect previously but had no success‚ not overly looking for a connection but wanting to share medical history details of our birth mother.
589. AnneGreenall1945 : My mother’s name was Anne Greenall (born 27/12/1945) had a son when she was 17 (1963?) that she adopted‚ possibly from Berry Street. However‚ they had no registry of mum being there. I have filled out a form with AIS but not heard back you. I believe mum met with her son in the early 2000s but we didn’t learn about our half brother until a month ago. Mum passed away in 2020.
590. Kellie1618 : I am seeking any siblings that may have been adopted and who's fathers name was Barry Easdale he was also my father . Would love any info to meet any siblings or family

592. Sarahstratulate : Hi‚
I am searching for my mother’s biological parents on her behalf. She was born in Melbourne‚ Victoria May 24th 1966 by Galetly and Marjorie Cathels.
Thank you‚
Sarah (and Sue)
593. Vickiemai : Hi‚ I’m looking to find my youngest brother‚ he’s known as ’Andrew’ but would maybe changed his name?. He use to live around Footscay area and the last we heard he had children in a home?. We don’t know any more than that except he use to wear very thick glasses and blondish hair when he was young. He has just lost his Big sister Julie who passed on the 11th Nov this year. I don’t know if he’s alive or passed but we all would love to know what happened.
Thanks
594. Pamem : Robert Baker Vietnam Veteran originally from Nunawading Victoria‚ I believe to be biographicaly related to following information from Judith Ellis whom is also biologically related. The adoption was in 1969 after Judy spent time at Bethany home for single mothers in Geelong Victoria. Mr Baker was married to a Butterworth but I believe they have divorced following information from Ray Colley whose brother was enlisted with Robert from the 1st mandatory army call up to the Vietnam war.
599. Alan1026 : I am searching for a sibling of my wife. The baby boy that was born on 24th February 1949. We are led to believe the birth took place in Carlton Victoria
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
